Ditto. I dunno. This place is my NUMBER ONE source for news, believe it or not, and I check in ten times a day - or more. I love the place, but no matter how hard I try I simply cannot get on board with the hatred that is sometimes exhibited.
I would hate to be banned, but nor can I stand on the sidelines in silence at this display of pure resentment.
This is an ugly side of FR that makes me very uncomfortable. This isn’t a reasonable discussion of the sponsorship issue - this is a lynching.
What your seeing is a natural reaction to having something crammed down your throat (possibly a bad phrase to use in this thread) and the resentment it creates.
The way to defuse it is not to admonish the people here, but to get the other side to back the f-— off , stand down and get out of our faces, schools, etc...
Personally, I have a live and let live attitude but that requires that I be allowed to completely disassociate myself from those I disagree with. I am almost positive that 99% of the people here in this thread feel the same way. The anger you see grows from the FORCED association and the constant battering of an agenda.
