AP Interview: SC senator stumps for climate change (Graham mocks SC conservatives) (BARF ALERT)

WASHINGTON (AP) — Sen. Lindsey Graham makes an unlikely champion for action on climate change.

The South Carolina Republican has joined forces with Democrat John Kerry of Massachusetts and independent Joe Lieberman of Connecticut to drum up support for a bill that would put a price on heat-trapping pollution.

Graham's position has irked just about everybody.

(snip)

Q: How did you get involved in this issue?

A: It was a slow evolution. I started traveling with Sen. (John) McCain, who has been a climate change advocate for a long time, and I went to the Arctic region with him and Sen. (Hillary Rodham) Clinton.

(snip)

Q: Are you concerned about the political fallout back home, where some Republican leaders have censured you for your climate change stance?

A: My state has 12 percent unemployment, so I think I am going to win the day back home. I am confident that I can sell this because my state is on its knees economically. (snip)

From left: RAT, RINO, RAT

As far as I'm concerned, all three of them are Rats.

Sadly there is a large gap between democrats and republicans in that state; unemployment for republicans is well under twelve percent.

I love how these idiots want to put burdens and restrictions on American business and industry and then wonder where all the jobs are going. Then these same idiots speak with certainty on how to create “new” jobs in the future...

“you know as well as I do this is the best way for us to create new jobs in the future...”

Lindsey - I have an idea. Get out of Washington, get out of our way, and get your hands off our wallets.

What job has this idiot ever created? I guess they have to destroy all the non-green Jobs on their way to these “feel good - hip” Green jobs. No thanks. I’ll keep my bill paying, family supporting, non-bailed out, non-green job.

RINO #2 on the top ten list, right behind MYTH ROMNEY.

These arrogant bastards are about to get the surprise of their lives.

Each time Lindsey looks like he’s starting to clean up his act, he does something really, really stupid. He just cannot divorce himself from McPain, and he was just re-elected last year.

Five more years. Blech.

Maybe, just maybe, McPain will be defeated next year and Lindsey will finally wise up for good.

But I’m not optimistic.

I agree 100%. He starts looking like he gets it, then he does something so off the wall like this I want to scream.

I was just saying that maybe if McPain loses next year, Lindsey will get the message for good.

It’s sure going to be interesting to watch Lindsey twist in the wind alone starting in 2011.

He’ll be gone in time, just not soon enough.

As the politicians like him see others removed for cause, they’ll either moderate or switch parties. Either way, this RINO is an endangered species.

[[Q: How did you get involved in this issue?]]

A: Well, the obama administration agreed to bribe me until I couldn’t stand anymore perks, and that’s when the ‘gradual evolution’ began.

Q: Aren’t you betraying the GOP base?

A: The Who now? What have they ever done for me me me?

Q: Don’ you think this makes you an A$#

A: Yes, yes I do

I saw water, and when ice melts, it turns into water- so there you have it- what more evidence do we really need that man is causing catastrophic and irreversible climate change? The science is settled, and the earth’s core is heating up to over 100 million degrees- Al gore said so

That's assuming Palin doesn't stupidly step in to save McCain's sorry arse from its impending beat down.

He was just re-elected in 2008. Unless S.C. recalls him he's in 'til 2014.

S.C...please recall this idiot.

As I told Jim Robinson, for all our sakes, I sincerely hope you're right.
