As to the flight attendant in question, American has taken specific action related to that employee. Because this is a private personnel matter, we cannot disclose the nature of those actions.

In other words, after filing a false federal report, the stewardess gets a slap on the hand.

I’m thinkin if his fellow passengers don’t stay behind to give testimony on his behalf, this ends differently.

Well, she’s probably in a union. They can’t fire her.

Six passengers, including Dave Koss, stayed behind to stand up for Reed.
“We all wanted to help him out and be a witness for him so he didn’t get into any trouble,” Dave said.
Dave blogged about the incident, which caught the attention of the mainstream media.
John said he is grateful the other passengers stayed to support him.

Why hasn’t the stewardess been prosecuted? Her conduct goes beyond outrageous to criminal.

Note to flight attendant: Always, I mean ALWAYS pack enough meth to get you through the entire flight.
Union protection is likely the reason she didn’t lose her job.

"Im thinkin if his fellow passengers dont stay behind to give testimony on his behalf, this ends differently." You got that right.
What'd be better than an isolated individual to be made an example of, eh?

Typical of the airlines lately. A friend of mine had the cops called on him because he complained to a ticket agent about a late flight.

You know, if this passenger had gone to the front of the cabin to “discuss” this issue as he was requested to do by the stewardess, he would have NO witnesses and tonight could be sitting in jail with felony charges facing him.
This stewardess needs to be FIRED.
I think every American can relate to the fear of being thrown in to the slammer based on false charges by some lunatic having a bad day.

For years have had not isolated less than good experiences with AA. Only fly them when can not get another airline at reasonable alternative.
