Lucky thing too ...just when all the responsible journalists disappeared. What timing.
Only 25% by 2018? Surely we can do better than that.
25% is a low ball number. How come the Galveston News gets to throw tree derived paper garbage wrapped in plastic on my driveway where it goes straight to the landfill anyway? There ought to be a law!
Well lets hope it doesn’t take that long.
Whew! ...This is what I call optimistic dreaming on the part of the MSM. Newspaper jobs will decline by more than 25 percent in another eight years. Even Obamao’s bailout won’t resuscitate liberal pap to that extent.

The technology revolution has made it much easier to automate the reprinting of AyPee’s daily load of tosh.
25% is too pessimistic... I think at least 50%
2018 is too optimistic,
I wouldn’t be surprised to see a 25% decline by 2011
My Liberal neighbor who still drives around with his Obama sticker lost his job with the Seattle Times a few months ago, and has still not been able to find work. Tempted to ask him how that Hope and Change is working for him.

Unintended humor? E&P is folding...
24 percent by 2018?
Crappola, 30 percent by 2012.

Good news indeed! Better news would be if it was by next year rather than in nine years. I want everybody associated with the big-city daily newspapers to lose their jobs, their homes, their life savings, and their families. For what they have helped their Democrat party do to America they deserve nothing less.
By the way, I thought ‘Editor and Publisher’ was supposed to be dead?
I swear I read that here recently...
Walked into the Speedway yesterday for a cuppa coffee. There was an Afram girl there, giving away copies of the Cleveland Plain Dealer! Every Sunday for the past couple of months, they’ve been leaving the PD at everyone’s driveway. They’ll be gone soon. Nobody subscribes anymore.
You did. They fold after the January issue.
25% by 2018 is probably an accurate guesstimate if the economy is growing. The newspaper industry is a dying industry. ozero is accelerating this rate. It will probably by 25% by June. And the headlines will read, “Bush’s fault”. “Our boy king is going to save us”.
