Poll: Dissatisfaction Could Spell Trouble For Democrats In 2010
As President Obama's supporters grow listless and independents grow irritated, Republicans have a greater opportunity to dominate midterm elections, according to findings of the Battleground Poll.

Reporting from Washington - Anger among independent voters about the economy and the direction the nation is taking offer Republicans a significant opportunity to reclaim power in the 2010 midterm congressional elections, according to the results of the bipartisan Battleground Poll released today.
A lack of passion among President Obama's core supporters and an absence of confidence that the administration's policies and congressional spending are producing sorely needed new jobs also pose a serious challenge to the president's party in 2010.
Those are among the findings of a long-established team of Republican and Democratic pollsters, sponsored by George Washington University, which has measured the president's public job-approval rating at a low point for any first-year president in December.
"What a difference a year makes," said Christopher Arterton, dean of the graduate school of political management at GWU.
The president's job-approval rating has slipped to 49%, Republican pollster Ed Goeas and Democratic pollster Celinda Lake say. And the percentage of people who strongly disapprove of the president's performance, 41%, outweighs the 37% who strongly approve.
Disapproval of the job that Congress is doing has risen to 68%, "an all-time high," and 77% among independent voters.

If they think it’s bad now, just wait until everyone’s taxes go up.
The vast majority of Dems are safe with the way that districts are gerrymandered and the rate rate of idiocy in many parts of the nation. Thankfully it doesn’t take that high a percentage of districts to flip to take the House. I think we take it but can’t take the Senate based on whats up and their current lead. I think we get that in 2012.
Sheesh. They were already brain dead, now listless?
Sucks to be an Obamatron.
I’m still trying to figure out why zero’s back up to -12.
Rasmussen is unreliable with swings of + or - 4 points in a 24-hour period. Gallup that called the exact margin of 0’s victory in 2012 is more reliable and is generally considered the “gold standard” in polling.
I hadn’t hear/read that... you just ruined my day.
We’ll take back both Houses next year. Guarantee it.
That won’t happen until after the elections.
Sorry. My day has been ruined since early this morning.

Fixing it: Dissatisfaction Could WILL DEFINITELY Spell Trouble For WEASELS (formerly known as Democrats) In 2010 .....
Something is very wrong with those numbers.
I wouldn’t have a clue as to how they could accomplish it, but I’m convinced that somebody got a payday for those numbers.
Among those swing-voting independents: 40% said they would select the Republican; 19%, the Democrat."
The independents abandoning the Dems is a huge blow to the Dems. They usually break 2 to 1 for the Dems and now they are breaking 2 to 1 for the Republicans.
Obama's drones remind me of the damn idiots who followed Jim Jones down to their deaths in Guyana back in '78.
Keep countin’ those chickens. Did ya count the 2 special elections for the House last Nov? The rats won both congressional seats including a rare seat in NY-23 that had been held by the GOP for a long time. I remember thinking Clinton was toast after the great rat stomp of 94.
I doubt we will even win the House back in 2010. Too many conservatives think the teaparty marchers are ideologues. The teaparty gave the NY seat to the rats.
With enemies like conservatives, 0 don’t need friends
Maybe, maybe not. Some of the most unhappiest places in the world are the ghettos of urban America. Have been for years. Yet the inhabitants continuously praise people like Hussein.
Hussein may be trying to make a ghetto of all of America: keep ‘em unhappy, continue to lie to them, yet promise the pie in the sky.
