The scheduled tea party "die-in" this morning didn't exactly live up to the hype. A group of tea partiers gathered this morning and "stormed" Senate offices as planned, but the crowd was smaller than at past events. As for the "dying" part, that didn't seem to play a large part in the event either. TPMDC noticed no deaths, fake or otherwise, while we were there.
SNIP
Though there weren't a lot of them, the tea partiers -- as always -- showed a lot of enthusiasm for their cause. Before they headed off to the Senate offices, they gave the media a first look at their very own Christmas carol.
Check out their performance of the "12 Days Of Obama":

The carol was a good effort. Much better than the silly die-ins they were talking about doing.

Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed the carol; posted it on facebook, if for no other reason than to irk my liberal “friends”.

I love it!!
It’s the message that Congress needs to hear I don’t care if they aren’t perfectly “in tune” most Americans can relate. :)Our Congress definitely needs a tune up too!

Its the message that Congress needs to hear I dont care if they arent perfectly in tune most Americans can relate. I think the recent actions of Congress and the Senate are clear evidence they're not interested in listening anymore. They've heard all they choose to hear and are saying, "screw the rubes. I'll convince them they can't do without me by throwing some earmark money at their pathetic selves. Predictably, they'll simply shut up and re-elect me."

Thanks, but I wasn’t there for this one. It looks like a good sized crowd assembled in Upper Senate Park from what I saw of the Fox News coverage.

It looked like a few thousand at the rally from looking at the Fox News coverage.

Turn the sound down and just look at the signs as they hold them up. Each sign represented a ‘day of Obama.’

The lyrics are fine, but the singing is a bit off key.
