I understand everything you said here. It makes perfect sense to me.
That comment about hating Jews is very important. We kid ourselves today if we think it could never happen again, or involve other people in addition to the Jews.
Conservatives in the U.S. might just as well be Hitler’s handmaidens when you see the press describe them. It’s pathetic the values system they use to justify it too.
Right down to the Hitler youth efforts, the left has modeled it self after one of the worst governments in history. And yet it condemns others. Of course that part of the modeling too isn’t it.
As for your niece and the over 40 mindset, she’s getting it pumped in from somewhere. Her idiot professors were evidently ahead of the curve with what’s just ahead, or could be just ahead.
Thanks for the comments.

Conservatives in the U.S. might just as well be Hitlers handmaidens when you see the press describe them... There are several good biographies of Stalin out there now. One of the core behaviors of the bolshevik movement was to transfer the blame for all of their malfeasances to their opponents. Always. As they were spreading terror from Europe to the Sea Of Japan, they were charging convenient targets with terrorism, then shooting them. We forget history at our own peril.
Anything that ever happened can always happen again. And it can happen here. Not that I'm afraid that it will, but if no one gives a shit, I know that it must. Human nature does not seem to 'evolve'. At least I have not seen any evidence of it. If people like us forget what is really important, then we will indeed experience some 'interesting times'.
