Jim, thanks for posting this. I was not aware of (another) effort by the impotent, delusional children at DarwinCentral to attract FReepers to their "site". Anyone who wants to leave the major leagues of conservatism and call that fantasy land their home...well, don't let the door hit you on the way out.
First, let's keep this in perspective; DarwinCentral is about as significant and serious an internet site as Perez Hilton.
Free Republic on the other hand is ranked approx #4,000 of all websites globally and approx #1,100 of all US sites.
From a traffic perspective, DC is less than 1/100th of FR. We should pay as much attention to them as we pay attention to a single fly inside the Georgia Dome.
Second, I speak from as much past experience as anyone who has engaged with these simpletons. Outside of a handful (count one hand) they have no game. Weak on facts, strong on intimidation-slurs-name calling-don't answer direct questions-deflect,deny,deflect...tactics sound familiar?

In closing, their "fearless leader", screen name of Patrick Henry, is a lowly coward. He tried to stage many events here including a fake hacking of his profile page. Ultimately, you (Jim) saw through these childish pranks and showed him and most of them the door. Of course, they regularly return under PHony names but usually we catch them quickly as they cannot contain themselves.

As for Patrick Henry, and the comments made about him—JR admitted deleting his home page on several occasions. The poster is wildly incorrect in this and other claims he made in that FR post.

By the way, I find the people there to be not only intelligent and charming, but also quite witty and well-informed. (And then there is the oddest sense of deja vu, as if I had known them in a previous life, you know what I mean?)
