Thank you for tonight’s thread Ms.Lauren!
Good evening everyone!
Ms.Lauren has been gracious in allowing me to post pics of The Wreaths Across America escort from last night.
Pics will follow shortly, and I will address the pics to “all” to save time.
So please watch for them if you would like to see them.
It was an incredible and moving experience!
Miriam and I rode together in the escorting of the trucks.
Everywhere, there were people on street corners waving flags and saluting.
We met the trucks in Gardiner, and escorted them to a high school in Auburn, where they had a flag line, and all were holding candles..
It was a beautiful thing to see.
When we reached the town of Falmouth, all the fire fighters,EMTS, and emergency responders had their trucks there with lights flashing and sirens wailing to welcome us..
It was awesome!
Just think, 15 THOUSAND wreaths are heading to Arlington to honor The Fallen.
Being a part of this has humbled me, and made me again appreciate and thank those who gave all, and to our Vets, whom we love dearly, and have a special place in our hearts for their service, sacfrice and bravery to keep us free.
You are America’s best and brightest..
Thank you so much!
Now onto the pics!
Good work Ms B and Miriam!
Thank you for being there for ALL of us, Sis. I do look forward to the pictures! Hope Miriam was her own feisty self!
WooHoo....the wreaths are coming, the wreaths are coming!!!
What an honor to be able to escort them to the state line.
