“She changed her story so many times, she proved herself a liar”
She reportedly was questioned for days without a lawyer and beaten during the process, including all night “questioning.”
Italian juries convict on a simple majority and are not sequestered from media etc.
Whether she is guilty or not,and I think not, she did not get a fair trial and would not have been tried in the US at all.
From the outset this was a case of America bashing.
I have read a lot on this and I watched the 48 Hours investigation about this case.
This prosecutor is a vile crazy creep.
No way was he going to let her go. He has a history of bringing motivations like orgies, satanic rituals, etc. into the cases he tries.
In fact he is under indictment right now, yet was allowed to continue in this case.
The drifter who has been found guilty admitted at one point that she wasn’t there. The boyfriend was a boyfriend of one week. Yet somehow these three practical strangers killed her roommate because she didn’t want to participate in an orgy. That isn’t even realistic.
And there was no evidence. The knife that they say had her DNA on it was cleared as being the knife that killed the other girl. Imagine, a knife in your home being the thing that convicts you because it has your DNA on it. It is just stunning the stuff that this court got away with.
She looks like a murderer to me so how ‘bout you STFU.

From a distance she appears not guilty, but the herpes is an automatic guilty.
DNA evidence is not shady and circumstantial. I researched this case a lot. IMO, the evidence was OVERWHELMING! She would have been found guilty in any American court based on the evidence.
How exactly did Amanda’s boyfriend’s DNA end up on the victim’s bra clasp? How exactly did a knife found in Amanda’s boyfriend’s house, freshly washed with clorox, have Amanda’s DNA on the handle and the victim’s blood DNA on the tip? Why did she lie and wrongly accuse her boss?
I originally thought she was innocent, but after really studying the case, I changed my mind.
Contaminated DNA is he same lame excuse all defense lawyers use to try and discredit DNA evidence. Problem is, they never prove that it was contaminated.

Yes, it seems a lot of people are easily fooled by her innocent and sweet all-American looks. They should do some research into what this girl was really like. She was a druggie, took part in wild sex orgies, and was extremely promiscuous. This was not her first arrest. She had no respect for anything or anybody.

Her boyfriend said she wasn’t there. Of course, neither was he. He said he was surfing the web but computer records proved that was a lie. They both had conveniently turned off their phones prior to the time period of the murder.
I researched this over and over too and came to an opposite opinion. :)
She really does look great. Would be a shame if they misjudged her.

The knife was not found in her home. It was found in her boyfriend’s home freshly washed with clorox. The victim’s DNA was found on the blade.
Why?.
Italy is a beautiful country and the Italians are warm and friendly people. I cannot wait to return.

We have followed the case over here, and many, inc myself, believe her to be guilty. If you think she isnt,then fine, but stop insulting those who do as ignorant.
General and circumstantial evidence:
- Alibis changed several times.
- Inconsistencies in alibis, which still remain.
- Alibis contradicted by 3 independent witnesses, and by analysis of computer hard drive.
- Witness saw them both outside cottage with knives that night.
- Cell phones switched off early in evening, contrary to normal habits.
- Break-in was faked, nobody but Knox and Sollecito had a motive.
- Washing machine was run on morning after murder, and cleanup attempted long after Guede had fled.
- Victim’s injuries point to more than one attacker, as do footprints and witness hearing running feet.
- Highly improbable story of Knox showering in house on morning after murder, unworried by broken window, open door, blood stains, unflushed toilet.
- Lie by Sollecito about phone call from father that evening.
- Lie by Sollecito about Meredith being pricked with knife while cooking.
- Lie about what time they called the Carabanieri.
- Knox had knowledge about manner of victim’s death even before the police knew.
- False accusation by Knox against Patrick. Knox told mother shortly afterwards that Patrick was innocent, but neither made any attempt to tell police or lawyers.
- Knox may have been on bad terms with victim.
Forensic evidence:
- Knife with victim’s DNA in Sollecito’s apartment.
- Sollectio’s DNA on victims bra, possibly Knox’s DNA on victim’s bra.
- Knox’s blood mixed with victim’s blood: in bathroom (3 places), hallway, room with faked break-in.
- Footprints in blood compatible with Knox in hallway, cleaned after murder, revealed with luminol.
- Footprint in victim’s blood compatible with Sollecito on bathmat.
- Print of woman’s shoe compatible with Knox’s shoe size (not victim’s) under victim’s body.
- A number of forensic experts called by the defence were unable to dent the prosecution case.
Background (not evidence in itself, but supports evidence):
- Knox: heavy marijuana and alcohol user, casually slept with many men. Fined for wild party in Seattle. Cold, abnormal behavior after murder: “She f-ing bled to death”. Laughing, kissing, making faces in police station soon after murder. Day after body discovered Knox shopped for sexy lingerie, kissed in public, talked about wild sex. Cartwheels in police station waiting room. Didn’t attend memorial for victim, went for pizza instead.
- Sollecito: arrogant and spoiled, marijuana and cocaine user, collected knives and always carried a knife with him. Collected violent, pornographic comics. Collected besiality porn. Had poster of serial killer on his wall. Wanted ‘extreme experiences’.

Firstly, there is NO proof she was beaten, she never had ANY marks, only her word. And this is a girl who has lied and changed her story, so you cant believe anything that came out of her mouth.
