That’s my point. It’s either all the truth or it’s all to be taken into question. You can’t have it both ways. And yes, there are admonitions on the truth of the Word of God contained within the Word of God, but then you get into the argument of who assembled the Bible. Either way, we could argue it until the cows come home. I choose to believe the Bible and you choose to believe portions that uphold your particular view of whom you want God to be.

That is your problem. If the story of Jonah in the whale is not true, your lose all your faith and cannot worship the Bible anymore.
