Wish she were coming to our BJ's in Maryland....
yes, she signed her book even if you didnt buy it there. but she only signed her book, no pictures or anything.
Well, it’s snowing now... hope any Freeepers in the line are bundled up and keeping warm thinking about meeting Sarah.
Good Morning!
I agree. The entire concept is an ugly bit of history.
Wait till the lawyers begin to sue for all the wasted money spent to meet the requirements that were based on this false information. Think light bulb purchases! Class Action...LOL
Thanks! It sounds like a different arrangement at BJ’s. The snow is still coming down. I ended up with a family commitment which made the decision for me as regards to attending the book signing. Maybe we’ll get some first hand accounts.
FoxInSocks just posted on the Virginia board that a BJ’s membership was required and that only books purchased at BJs would be signed.
Not cool ... and yet cold since it’s snowing.
I was only able to take this one after getting out of BJs. I was told you couldn’t take cell phones or cameras in. They ended up taking any before you got to see Sarah.
I have a write up here, which I’m going to post on the Bloggers page.

Ah, It’s SOP for the place holding the book signing. They have to get something out of all the work to set up and over see.
Friend from work went to the booksigning. He said they told him they would refund his membership. I’ll ask him again in a few weeks or so and see if he got his money back.
