First of all my apologies for being so late to post the monthly Sanity Island. I got started late and and that put me behind
Its almost 11 month since President Bush has left office. There goes no day by that I wished he were still in the White House. No matter though he is still my President and will always be as long as I live.
Today I will post photos from December 2001 and 2002, and tomorrow from 2003 and 2004
For the quote of the day I have chosen the address President Bush gave to the Marines at Camp Pendelton on December 4, 2004. I will only post the first two paragraphs and will post the link to the entire address
Well said! Happy New Year FRiend!!!
Thank you, NordP! Hope you have a marvelous year ahead of you!
Thank you for this link—it is truly incredible. It only magnifies the gulf between President George W. Bush, the man, and Barack Hussein Obama, the petulant child. An emptier suit never sat in the Oval Office, truly the greatest hoax of all time. I fervently hope and pray that the greatest country in the world survives this administration, that it isn’t run into the ground by Obama and his let’s-see-how-fast-we-can-turn-America-into-Albania Congress. We truly have a war going on between good and evil inside our borders—let’s hope Americans wake up in time!
Obama and Michelle are the complete antithesis of George and Laura Bush! How Blessed we all are to still have them both! I have my Thank you President Bush on the rear window of my car and keep hoping I’ll see another!
I’m glad you’re feeling better, snugs! :-)
Thanks so much for the this thread.

Happy New Year, snugs!
Glad to hear you’re on the medd to good health.
Drive to Ohio. Both Mr OH and I have one on our cars. :)
(I'm glad you're feeling better too!)
PLEASE...the very fact that you are even DOING the Monthly Dose is remarkable - DO NOT worry about when it gets up. You have had one heck of a December. I don't know HOW you do it. Give Dad hugs from us and give yourself a few too!!!! Thank you!!!!!!
Wow - I want to say to these Hillbuzz people - where were you for eight years?????
You were obsessed with BDS, no doubt.
NOW you see the truth????
Good to know - however, a bit late.
(Anyway - thanks for the link, SCB).
No worries re: being late with this thread - for heavens sake! Glad you feel better. The winter colds going around are real bears!!!
Happy new year to you in the UK!
It’s only January 2nd! Feel Better.
Have a New Year Full of Good Health, Happiness and Prosperity.
I appreciate what you do, now more than ever!
We were in Cincinnati over Christmas—flew into Dayton— but my son has a company car and my daughter-in-law just doesn’t put stickers on hers==not even Eagles! We only ventured out one day to go to the movies but I didn’t see any. Forgot to check #2 son—he did drive down—I did send him one. He still has his W 2000! :) He was one of those who temporarily registered as a Dem to vote for Hillary. Had to swear he held to their principles—”Well, they do lie and cheat...”
It’s cruelty to grandmothers, lysie, showing that tempting soup! If only you offered home delivery...
Sure wish I could deliver.
That makes two of us!! :) One of my favorite memories is my grandmother’s homemade chicken soup made from a real chicken! That was way before antibiotics and other stuff. Home made noodles, served in a low, wide, blue soup dish—what a treasure. And I never felt guilty either that this was one of the chickens that had scratched around the farm! What a blessing those memories are!
Hope you are feeling better, snugs! There is NO reason to feel ANY pressure about January’s thread. Hugs.
Thank you DrDeb. Just signed up to be a George W. Bush fan on Facebook. Lots of really nice comments on there. So many miss him as we do.
