The man wanted in this morning's shooting deaths of four Washington State police officers was granted clemency by then-Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee nine years ago.

I expect the police took statements from the patrons who witnessed the shootings - and many of the patrons could have given not only a good description of the suspect, but some may have even cooperated with an artist’s rendering .. and once the police saw that .. it might have given them a better idea of who they were looking for.
>>If you’re wondering how Gov. Huckabee’s hundreds of clemencies compare with neighboring states, get ready for a shocker. Huckabee leads the pack. He has issued more commutations and pardons than all of the six neighboring states combined.
a lenient Mass. judge got the nickname ‘Let ‘Em Go Delvecchio’.
I suggest the following:
SET ‘EM FREE HUCKABEE
I imagine that libs judges “released kooks list” is posted on the Bulletin Board.
Huh? Think he has been a model citizen up till now?
“Clemmons’ criminal history includes at least five felony convictions in Arkansas and at least eight felony charges in Washington. The record also stands out for the number of times he has been released from custody despite questions about the danger he posed.”
Allot of people are to blame for he and others like him who escape time and time again from the punishment they deserve. Huckabee is not off the hook, nor is any other grease ball lawyer or Judge who made it easey for this guy to be on the street.
It never ceases to amaze me that some people just cannot accept that other people are evil .. or can be evil .. and do evil things.
This is especially true of some Christians .. who are tied to the “we have to forgive” mantra. I’ve been a Christian for a lot of years, but I can still recognize that some people are just plain evil.
It’s partly due to ignorance of the scriptures. Jesus was not a wimp. He restrained himself because He knew what His mission was - to die on the cross. He reminded his followers when the Romans came to arrest Him that He could have called legions of angels to help Him.
Also .. when Jesus found corruption within the temple, He went inside and turned over the tables (piled with money), and then He bodily threw the money changers out into the street. I think that shows me that Jesus was not afraid to challenge people who were doing evil, and we should not be afraid either.
The other thing the media says to Christians is: You can’t judge. But that’s another lie from the devil. We have a better way of determining people’s intent - it’s called “discernment”.
I could care less what Huckabee said today.
Just call him DooCacaBee, and I’m happy.
He was given like 95 years 95 years he did 11. ok
Who is this WE your talking about? I don't need his kind of skill....Pointing fingers at everyone except himself is not what we need. It is said the (he that can fake sincerity has it made) that's Huck. Where is he conservative? inquiring minds want to know..
I had to say that twice before I got it. I’m a little slow today.
“There were plenty of us in Arkansas who pointed out that Huckabee is a fraud and got attacked for it.
I got into it with some lib from Indiana on here a few weeks ago who instead took shots at our state instead of defending his pathetic record.”
Hard to believe people still fall for Huck’s crap, they go to his website and come here spouting every line as though it were the gospel. Huckabee’s only marginally better than Obama, I can see him going right along with socialized medicine claiming it is the “Christian” thing to do. God knows he’s already on board with the nanny state stuff and amnesty & perks for illegals.
The dogs ate his homework?
Good thing Huckabee announced today that he has no interest in 2012.
Huckster would be stupid to run. He has a pretty good gig on Fox and makes a heck of a lot more money than the pitiful salary of a President. I always thought a President should make 1 million dollars a year at least.
For archive of Huckabee’s trail of dishonesty and anti-American destruction.

“Huckabee says he probably will not run in 2012”
Our Lord works in strange and mysterious ways.
Here is why this story is relevant:
1) First this web site is devoted to not only discussing right-of-center and conservative ideas but personalities that perhaps will be candidates in the 2012 GOP primaries. Anything that impacts any of the Big 3 whether it be Huckabee, Romney, or Palin unless it is something trivial like how many times they go to the bathroom each day is relevant.
2)When assessing who to vote for in the 2012 GOP primaries whether you like a person is highly relevant but also whether he/she has the necessary judgment or ability to perform the job as POTUS; so digging into a person’s past ‘record’ is fair game to unveil what decisions he/she made, the impact they had on their constituency/state/country and subjectively determine whether their decisions was the right ones or not to come to a conclusion whether someone is a viable presidential candidate.
3)Huckabee obviously did not pull the trigger but he allowed not only Clemmons to escape their sentence (despite protest from prosecutors in Arkansas) but other felons like Dumont as well who re-offended. If Clemmons was only an isolated incident I could see one arguing ‘the needle in the haystack’ argument but when a pattern can be shown of allowing clemency to the ‘wrong’ people then yes questioning someone’s judgment or motives for the release is highly relevant.
Another fine criminal released by Mike Huckabee...link below
