Take your 16 votes and go sit in the corner.
Palin’s got a job to do, cleaning out the Socialist Augean Stables of America, and she doesn’t need your piddly pip-squeak help.
You retard.

Alan Keyes is like a stale fart that won’t leave the room.
Keyes can be a great speaker, at times -—
But he is also an egomaniac with HORRIBLE political instincts.
Whatever, youre right Alan I do not want new conservative blood any where near the white house ;)
Keyes will be challenging Bill O’Reilly as the World Bloviation Champion. He just liked the sound of his own voice, and pretending to be smart.
So Rudy says nice things about Palin, thus she is damned in Keyes’ eyes? It would be interesting to see if Rudy said similar things about Keyes; would he hold himself to the same judgment?
OUTSTANDING article, links in the article, and comments at those links. Thank you Alan Keyes.
Go Sarah!
Keyes has even less credibility on political positioning and strategy than most of our hapless Republican ‘consultants’ do.
Wow FReepers!!
Judge an article not by the color of the author, but the content of the article.
It’s amazing that so many folks can read an opinion and discuss the author more than the opinion.
I agree that Alan Keyes lost his way in the political arena, but much his diminuition can be laid at the feet of the media..he has been Goldwatered down and then Borked.
Keyes goes too far here, as well as ignoring certain basic truths, first and foremost being that the pro life cause was defeated in 1973 with Roe V. Wade, which grants an almost absolute legal right to an abortion. That is now the law of the land, so I don't know what further defeat Keyes is worried about. Furthermore, the only way to reverse this problem is to overturn Roe V. Wade and get back to the point where it was a state's rights issue, then work from there.
Keyes is so fixated on moral and ideological perfection that he has lost his senses, especially when it comes to trashing Sarah Palin's pro life position.
I used to like Keyes. I even supported him against Dubya in the 2000 GOP primaries. Then, after hearing him speak more, I realized that he’s bat guano crazy and switched my support to Steve Forbes.

I welcome this reminder from Keyes. Lately on F.R, I've noticed the Rudybots coming back, One yesterday referred to Rudy as a "Reaganite". If memory serves me, it's this kind of talk that resulted in the great purge.
Keyes is not electable and that's a great loss because he may be the most conservative politician in the country. I would and have voted for him
The next five or six hours belong to my family, not FR.
But, before I head out, I’ll say this:
This isn’t about Sarah Palin, or Alan Keyes, or any other political figure — or the fortunes of any particular political party.
This issue, whether or not the right to life is considered to be UNALIENABLE FOR ALL, is the KEY QUESTION that will determine the fate of the pro-life movement, the survival of our form of government, and whether or not America will continue to be the home of the free.
Along with Jefferson, I “tremble when I consider that God is just.”
Thanks E.V. for posting this, you are ‘ever vigilant’ in respect to the pro-life cause. I did not know Palin was pro-choice, unfortunately it seems that she is yet another one of those pro-choice politicians who say abortion is not for them, but they would not stop someone else from making that ‘choice’ to murder their own unborn. She says it should be up to the states to outlaw ‘murder’. States rights are more important than the right to life?
Keyes is right about much of the article; however, it seems that because Sarah differs from him in how to deal with the abortion problem, he dismisses her as “pro choice”. Basically, it seems as if he’s a perfectionist who isn’t satisfied with “good enough”.
I’m not sure I understand the ambassador’s question. If having a dedicated, principled pro-life political candidate who can win both primary and general elections, even with her party machinery against her, even in down years for the party at large, is a pitfall, it’s one we need more of.
The ambassador and the governor are two people I’d personally rather be friends. I think they’re broadly sympathetic already. The ambassador can give the governor a master class in political philosophy. The governor can give the ambassador advice on how to win elections. Both things matter.
I’m not surprised to find Alan Keyes come down with PDS. He is pretty harsh on anybody who doesn’t spell his name A-l-a-n K-e-y-e-s.
I liked Keyes right up until I read this screed.
Everyone in some form or fashion is envious of Sarah Palin.
Everyone and I mean everyone who wants to have a horse in this race cannot seem to be thankful for Sarah Palin. Instead they covertly attack her or overtly belittle her. The results are the same. They besmirch themselves and lose support.
No, it won’t be a Palin-Keyes ticket, that’s for sure.
Sarah Palin is not Ronald Reagan and Ronald Reagan was not George Washington. But it doesn’t matter. She’s got common sense. And she’s got that spark that lights the fire in the breasts of the “Uncommon Common Man” and gives them true hope for a brighter future.
Ronald Reagan had it. Sarah Palin has it. I am thankful that she does . . . and all who want to claim their Conservative Roots would do well to act accordingly.
Those who Dis Sarah Palin do so at their own risk.
NO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
