Apparently there are still some posters on FR who are fast asleep. Wake up! Dammit! We are in the middle of a conservative rebellion! While you were sleeping we, along with millions of other freedom loving grassroots Americans have participated in hundreds of tea parties all across this great land and fully intend to keep it up until all of America is awake. We are fed up and mad as hell! We grassroots Americans are delivering a message to the ruling class: NO MORE!!
No more big government! No more high taxes! No more government bailouts! No more government takeovers! No government healthcare! No more corruption! No more global baloneyism!!
We're sick and tired of liberals and RINOs running roughshod over our God given Liberty!
We want our country back! We want our freedom back! We want it all back!!
No more socialism!!
Cut the taxes! Cut the spending! Cut the government!
Restore the constitutional limits on government! Restore our freedom!!
And not only no, but HELL NO to liberals and RINOS!!

We need to be paying attention to Crist in FLA too. No way should he get into the senate. Wet lips sinks ships. And FLA is a big ship to let sink.
So far I know nothing about Pence and DeMint. But I do know that if Palin runs for President, it would be a mistake to select a female VP. Got to give the guys a chance to shine too. Damn, I wish Cheney was ten years younger with a better heart.
I take back what I said about you. To me, you did come across as if you were hijacking this thread with your repeated insistence on Newt material, instead of the broader issue of RINOs in general, but recent posts convince me you’re for real.

Another name that hasn’t received traction here is Michele Bachmann. She’s been a fireball in the House. I’m very impressed with her.
Oh I follow her like crazy! She’s awesome. Its been so nice to see conservative women (politicians) rise up.
No problem. I’m stubborn to the core when I get an issue I’m wrestling with. I admit it.
And even tho I’m not 100% sure, there’s enough negatives that I am (now) convinced about re: Newt, thanks to the responses tonite, to make me about 75% convinced that he’s a no-go as far as being OOU (one of us).
Back when he was campaigning with Bush (the good ole days) I watched a biography channel bio program on him. Gads, I was stunned at the man’s knowledge, expertise and dynamic persona. He could nail Zero verbally in about two seconds in a debate, even (or especially) now. I’d love to see him as an advisor to the next conservative President, at the very least.

There are a few lessons to learn. Grassroots are important. Who the county chairs are is important. It's OK to vote third party when the Republican is so far left that she'll endorse the Demonrat. Don't send money to Michael Steele. Don't trust Newt Gingrich ever again (for those who hadn't learned this already).

There’s nothing that says you have to be in lock step with anyone on Newt or any other politician. We all have reasons for following one or another. And we all have personal likes and dislikes. The problem is when an individual shows a propensity for bipartisanship, openly voting for liberal political policies, voicing support for someone like Obama (as McCain did in support of his presidency), that kind of thing.
And it’s not the idea that it happens once, or a Senator or whoever votes to allow something out of committee with the intention of allowing his colleagues to vote it down en masse on the floor. It’s the repeated fascination with the liberal agenda displayed time and time again. Newt has frankly crossed the line for many of us. But, we all draw our lines ourselves. It’s not a cut and dried agenda.
Well, I have to admit, my anger is seething too. I’ve just been out of the loop re: the “Who’s Who” in RINOland.
RINOs. Can’t live with em. Can’t kill em. Can’t even scare em.
We really need to find a way to get their ‘attention’.

I’d been yelling at Bush for the last four years over HIS RINOcerous little ways. No border control, no fence, prosecuting and imprisoning two border guards for having done their freaking jobs which sent a CLEAR (Zero-like) mesage to all Mexican drug runners that the law was on their side. Idiocy.
It’s akin to crooked cops. Doesn’t matter what the reasons are for them to turn. Greed/money, promise of power, status, promotion, ego. All are part and parcel of the same corruption. The problem is, these “crooked cops” in DC can and will get us all killed if they’re given enough time ‘in office’. 3,000 souls lost on one day is nothing compared to what will happen under these moronic traitors to America if left uncorrected. This country was never meant to be run by communists, judged by globalists and handed over to Muslim extremists and terrorists, much less to a 3rd world illegal immigrant population. Yet....that’s what we’re facing.
