Well, you assume we are going to have honest elections in the future and I no longer take that for granted.
A CIC who DITHERS on Afghanistan! PBO is A JOKE of CIC.
I agree. The military has to, above all things, stay out of the electoral process. A lot of Freepers here want the military to throw Zero out, but it would set a dangerous precedent. What if the military doesn’t like the next President, or the other, or another. We can’t let the military anywhere near Washington.
I don’t believe that Zero would be able to get full cooperation from the US military at all if he wanted them to arrest the citizenry and the non-political stance of the military is our most valuable asset.
The exception is, she’s conservative, which is to say she’s the anti-Obama, sort of like kryptonite to Superman. And maybe not quite enough “diversity” to suit the wanna-be emperor in the White House. I’m sure she’ll comply, but I wish she’d do the actual signing off-base, so she could sign as she pleases.
Freedoms the very same Army fought for,
they then deny to their own.
Strange world.
Too damn PC for me.
It is clear that many Army Commanders were promoted for Leftard political beliefs and not for being good soldiers.
The first order of a Palin Administration should be to fire Leftard parasites in all departments of the government, but in particular the military.

........
FORT BRAGG, N.C. Hundreds of people are lined up at an Army base in North Carolina where former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is signing books.
Palin arrived a little after 11 a.m. Monday, waved and went inside the store where she quickly started signing copies of her new memoir. She did not make any statement.
An Army spokesmen says Palin will not make a speech, pose for photos, or personalize notes in the books she signs at the on-post store. Officials estimated as many as 1,500 waited for her arrival. About a dozen people camped out.
end snip
Well you got the Pentagon very close to DC.
Amen to that!
Plus Obama grandstand Bush last year.
This is all LIBERAL PC.
No where in that article was a quote saying she had ever intended to make a political speech. This particular leak or total fabrication along with this particular headline was put out there for a reason and you can bet your bottom dollar that reason was very much political.
Yes, and he showed it all over national tv. But somehow I missed what he said about diversity trumping the innocent lives lost.
Bob and Ann had to be vetted but not Hussein.
You suspend some of your rights the day you enlist. Your rule of law is the UCMJ until you get out.
They might get people to not give speeches, but they cannot dictate what people feel in their hearts, know in their minds and see with their eyes. Not everyone is so pathetic that they are easily led around by the nose. The degree of fear of Sarah and all her power and influence is breathtaking...and I for one Loveit, loveit,LOVE IT!!!My Girl!!
No one said there could be no photos taken. What was said was she couldn’t “pose” for photos, a totally different thing.
Those have been the rules at all the venues. Same rules when she spoke at Wisconsin Right to Life fundraiser 2 weeks before the book tour started. I think these rules protect Sarah. I believe HER team wants to control photos.
All she needs is to have somebody with devious purposes pose in a picture with her and then it hits the Web the next time she runs for office. Remember Hillary posing with one terrorist after the other at the WH?
No personal notes? Saves time; more people get through the line.
The same rule has applied always. Whether President Obama, Gov. Palin, etc. It is protocol. The base knows what it is doing. Trust them.
I’m betting those un-posed pics will include her flag pin unlike someone else.
Political correctness will be the downfall of this country.
