ON Fox News now, Vote is underway!!!
Oh.. Pawlenty would never allow Acorn to steal a Senate seat on his watch......OH I FORGOT HE DID LET THEM...
So Lieberman could have shut this whole circus down with a no vote?
Think he missed his shot at attaining hero status..
Monday? It runs 24/7...it’s already through the roof, LOL!
We are SO screwed as a Nation. But you and me? We’ll muddle through... ;)
At last, the voice of facts, sometimes i feel like i am beating my head against a brick wall — you are correct on your points.
Yes, I mean it. It was set up that way for several reasons.
It can still be killed right up until Obozo Puts his Mbuntu Soetero on it.
Years ago I had, what I thought, was a nice sports car.It gave me some fun and a lot of trouble. I kept putting more money and time in it.
One day I woke up to the facts that it was worth having and had spent to much time and money and sold the 8itch.
Lesson learned; when things aren’t what you want don’t mess with small fixes. In this case just clean house!!!
If run-away prosecution of Ted Stevens of Alaska hadn’t convicted him days before the election, there would not have been the sixtieth vote either
Thank God I own property, Elkie!! But, I know you’d count MY vote. :)
This whole thing is making me physically ill. How we will survive this administration remains to be seen. *BARF*
One step closer to this disaster. :(
I am so dissapointed that Lieberman chose to vote yes.
Like Rush said the other day, he still SIDES with the Demo’s when the heat is on.....I really thought he had more integrity than this!!! Sad day Joe...sad day!
I figure gold will be 1300 before the wednesday close for holidays.
EXACTLY If Ted Stevens had won, Sarah Palin could have appointed herself to the Senate, this never would have passed
I heard that if it passed today that the final vote will only need 50 votes to pass. If the final vote needs 50 to pass, is it considered the “nuclear option”? or just a normal procedure.
Doesn't surprise me. He's a liberal.
I like your thinking.
Also, I think liquidating cash before its worthless is a good idea.
Makes no difference in a cloture vote. All the republicans could have stayed home (except one, to object to a unanimous consent request). They needed 60 votes.
Anyway, did anybody see if they wheeled Byrd in on a stretcher, and if someone helped him cast his vote?
I guess we just witnessed the cash for cloture program. Not to mention revisionist history of the Louisiana Purchase.
