the spin is that this is a decrease over last week’s numbers.

it’s like saying, “A minute ago he Hemorrhaged a pint of blood. Good news — he’s now only hemorrhaging at a .999 pint per minute rate!”

Yeah, right.

10.2% and climbing

All that matters is that another half million jobs were lost again last month, the rest is just spin.

Since Obama’s inauguration the the weekly filings of new unemployment claims has averaged over 500,000 people. New claims represent real job losses as a person cannot claim unless she/he became unemployed. Over 38 weeks since the inauguration this equates to over 19 million jobs lost.

The employment situation is a disaster and continues to get worse. Expect more retail bankruptcies after the holiday season which will result in tens of thousands of additional job losses.

Nero man-child fiddles while Rome burns. All energy being channeled into signature issue Obamacare which America does not want. BUT Dems see it as their ticket to a co.mplete takover of the Fed Government and the TRANSFORMATION of America into a Socialist Utopia

This is terrible. There has been no let up to the slaughter. I didn’t expect any, but it is brutal seeing these poor people getting axed month after month. I cringed all along at the glee regarding a “service economy” and seeing us kill real job after real job and substituting millions of disposable jobs that provided us with conveniences but not necessities. I can groom my own dog. I can pour my own coffee. I can wash my own car. I can make my own bacon and eggs.

Brutal. Just keeps coming with no letup. Imagine the 2010 elections and the slaughter just keeps coming. Imagine 2012.

Brutal.

The figures on initial claims are one part of the picture. The other half which is ignored are people leaving the rolls. Did they just stop collecting before their benefits expired? If so we must assume they found work of some kind. If they exhausted their benefits then that's really bad because they're still unemployed. It also shows longer and longer waits for a new job. Let's not even get into those who had to take a cut in pay. Either way Barry is saying NOTHING and I mean NOTHING about this other than vague platitudes. Everything is about healthcare and that's scaring the Shiite out of employers because everyday a new “gotcha” is found in this legislation.
