“And the very principles upon which our form of government and our liberty are premised are destroyed.”

Roe v. Wade, the gift that keeps on giving to the Democrats. RVW a brilliant move to sabotage the Conservative movement.
RVW the best wedge issue ever.
RVW or how to cause a country to commit Constitutional Suicide.

Which one is the truth. They all are.

I think the Human Life Amendment in the Republican platform has had the same effect.

It provides cover, but does not help us advance the pro-life agenda.

Hogwash. Even though many of us would have liked to see the Stupak amendment defeated due to a cold political calculation of what it would take to get the entire Pelosi bill killed now instead of later, NRLC was 100% correct in characterizing this as a major, major litmus test vote dividing the hardest-core pro-death Dems from the rest. And it was correctly characterized as a major win for the unborn.

This appears to be nothing more than sour grapes from a jealous NRLC rival who thinks it will be easier to grow themselves by peeling off members from their larger rivals than by winning new converts from outside the pro-life movement.

The Stupak Amendment is just a transitory scam to fool the Catholics and Pro-Life forces during the confiscation of 1/6th of the US economy. Stupak will be soon discarded by the Death Party after nationalization.

BINGO

And even if Stupak remains it is largely worthless:

The whole bill and both houses of congress ARE WHAT NEEDS ABORTING.
