Steele has NOTHING to do with it. It's the Drive-Bys who are pushing the RINO candidates. This Politico push piece is a clear example.

Really? The chairman of the RNC has nothing to say about candidate funding, or steering the selection process?
Silly me, I thought the chairman of the RNC did something besides stick his foot in his mouth.
I think you sell the RNC Chairman short. He has the power to influence how Republicans conduct their in-state nominating processes. If they allow open elections where Democrats can cross over and elect our nominee for us, it’s partially his fault.
I don’t think Steele is doing a thing to clean up our nominating process. So I do hold him at the very least partially responsible for folks like McCain becoming our candidate.
Further, I believe your comment here shows how successful the RNC has been at hiding it’s duplicity in all this.
