If millions refuse to buy and refuse to pay the fines, then what will the leftists do? We already can’t afford to imprison those who actually deserve it.

This is AMERICA. You stand your ground and tell the government to sit and spin when they give you an unConstitutional mandate. Join a class action lawsuit. Demand that you have the right to buy whatever level of coverage you want, from whoever you want. Demand an end to insurance licensing (for those who don’t know, it’s simply a means by which insurance companies and agents keep down the competition, and an impediment to the growth of new competitors in the industry), demand an end to requirements for what all policies must cover, jacking up the price and making simple health insurance way too expensive.

Search for more literature on freedom in health care, you’ll find there is a large body of material (ignored by the big media) by economists making the case for a free market health care system, unlike the highly-regulated one we have now.

Be ahead of the curve. Create fake “proof of health insurance” ID cards! You’ll make a great living selling fake cards to others who don’t want to actually buy health insurance.

15 million illegals can’t be wrong! A fake ID works thousands of times every day.

No need to let liberals chase you out of your own country. It will be the other way around. We’re going to CHASE THEM out of America when we make Pelosi ex-speaker and drive her rotten party out of office.

I don’t think the Senate will pass it with this in it. Pray for some heart in the Senator’s decisions — and talk to your local Senator too.

The only thing you have to fear is fear itself ,, call your reps. send letters , ask for responses attend rallies , support your local conservative candidates ,,,,,,, DON’T SIT ON YOUR BUTT ,, that’s how we got here .

The Senate is unlikely to pass this bill with a public option if at all ,,, but cap and trade and the illegals will be on their future agenda ,, stay active and welcome to freerepublic ,, your in the best of company .

I, too, am in your situation.

Relatively young, self-employeed, CHOOSING not to pay for insurance that I do not need or want. Mandatory Heathcare Insurance is NOT reform. Making healthcare competitive in a free market IS.

Unlike you, I am not looking for a new nationality. I am, however, looking for the many, many people in our situation to do the following:

1) Vote PROPERLY.
2) Uphold the U.S. Constitution.
3) Resist.

Please add me to the "Pelosicared 1%er List"

Having to buy health insurance will be the least of our problems - the government will take control of every aspect of our lives.

Belated welcome to FR.

...I could have bought into a plan, but because the plan's price and my low income (despite my professional job), I decided against getting health insurance. I'm young and in relatively good health. I take prescription meds, but I can purchase them cheaply through Walmart...
