[history]
Nidal Malik Hasan, the suspect in yesterday's Fort Hood shootings that killed 13 and wounded 30, identifies as a Muslim.
Much has and will be made of his religion from people too ignorant to read a Qur'an, or too isolated to talk to a Muslim, or too stubborn to educate themselves. Even the Washington Post calls him a "devout Muslim." But can a "devout Muslim" commit such acts? No more than a "devout Christian" can, no.

I imagine more than a few people did recognise the warning signs, but their hands were tied thanks to PC. They would have been the ones in trouble for reporting him, as bigots or something. I'd bet money that if someone had reported him before he got to the point of murder, the media would have dived in head first to paint the military as outmoded perpetrators of bigotry.

Posted on another thread but fits here too.
My point is that the ususal blame someone else mentality of the media is already starting.
1) Hes a shrink...but cant deal with life in the military.
2) He didnt shot ALL of the victims.
I dont think the media should even be allowed to get by with even one story like this.
They are trying to mitigate the huge implications of this on American Soil.

What would Susan Campbell enjoy more:
1. Being deprived of her job
2. Her burka
3. Being stoned to death for being too western?

You know, statistically I had about a 1 in a hundred chance of this being a Muslim if it was just some random chance. But somehow way before the guy was identified, I was certain it was a Muslim....How is that?

Barack Insane Obama keeps pointing to the contributions Islam made to America. I can think of two:
1. Slavery - Muslims sold Blacks as slaves.
2. Helped create the Marines - Thomas Jefferson created the Marines to go over to the Barbary coast and kick some serious Muslim a**.

The election results in NJ and VA were not a referendum on Obama, and religion had nothing to do with the Ft. Hood murders.
Got it now?

The libs (secular humanists-see tagline) don’t see these things as a possible problem.
They are too myopically focussed on the need to destroy Christian values and their role as the basis of our civilization.
Muslims have the same nearterm goals.

Exactly. What the liberal media wants to hide, is that the more devout a Muslim, the more dangerous they are.

Susan, in light of recent history, to again, God forgive me, quote Nancy Pelosi: "Are you serious?"
When a religion starts calling for the active killing of all who do not follow it, it is no longer a religion!
It is then the enemy and needs to be treated as one.

The Fort Hood shooting suspect's religion is not the point On 9/11 the terrorists' religion wasn't the point
In the USS Cole bombing, the terrorists' religion wasn't the point
In Bali, the terrorists' religion wasn't the point
In Frankfurt, the terrorists' religion wasn't the point
In Kosovo, the terrorists' religion wasn't the point
In Bosnia-Herzegovenia, the terrorists' religion wasn't the point
In Albania, the terrorists' religion wasn't the point
In the Khobar Towers bombing, the terrorists' religion wasn't the point
In the first World Trade Center attack, the terrorists' religion wasn't the point
For the Taliban, their religion isn't the point
For the Wahabbists, their religion isn't the point
Daily, in Israel, the terrorists' religion isn't the point
For all of Islam's bloodied neighbors, the terrorists' religion is never the point.
When, exactly, can it be the point?!
