Heh. Yep, a classic.
Another one that made it under the radar recently was the kid's flick “Monsters vs. Aliens”.
The evil alien in this one resembles ‘Bammi in more ways than one. (assuming that Obama had multiple sets of eyes, that is.)
He's a tiny alien after a substance that crashed to earth on a meteor that will make him huge and powerful and allow him to clone duplicates of himself to take over the universe. He's very egocentric and has all kinds of self centered behavior.
I wasn't the only one in our group who saw it that noticed the similarities.
IIRC, that one came out just shortly after the election.
Knowing how long it takes to crank out one of those CGI animation movies, some one was way ahead of the curve there. ; )

(Can I opt-out of Obamaland?)

Perhaps not.
Simply pointing out the negative aspects of HUMAN behavioral tendencies need not be aimed at any person or group in particular.
If the left sees a commentary on ‘bammy’s narcissism in the character you describe, it’s because ‘bammy’s a narcissist.
If the left sees a commentary on their ideology in an allegory of fascism, it’s because THEY ARE FASCISTS.

(The difference between a humanist and a Satanist is that the latter knows who he's working for.)
