Tens of thousands of people from across the country made a "House call" on the west side of the Capitol yesterday. These Americans traveled to Washington to register their objections to the mammoth government health care bill that Democrats are rushing through Congress. The size and spirit of the rally were a testament to the explosion in grass-roots activism opposed to the expansion of government under President Obama's and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's watch. The silent majority is silent no longer.

Good to see somebody is covering this. FOX news is not.
I’ve seen it on FOX at least 3 times in the last 2 hours.
It reminded me of a family gathering where there's one really dominant, loud mouthed relative who just sucks the fun right out of the room!
But it was great to see everyone show up yet again. Proof positive: we're in it for the long haul! When the call goes out, the cavalry will arrive!
Yes indeed - these are the real “green shoots” that are growing in this country!
Way to go all who went to DC today! Made all who could not attend so delighted and proud! Woohoo! It was beautiful to watch and read about during the day.
I heard that these folks were flown and bussed in. Obviously they are part of the astro-turf/rent-a-mob organization. The Republicans are really desparate to advertise that they had to ship people in from out of the DC area, showing that there isn’t enough support right here in DC for their health care plan?
(Has anyone heard msobamanbc people or cnnbhO -mmmmm- chanters say this yet?)

The movement to free Americans from the oppression of liberal fascism must be transformed from ad hoc gatherings to an organized effort with the long-term goal of eradicating liberal fascism from our schools, universities, institutions, and above all, from government at every level. Liberalism is a hate crime, and the same tactics used to infiltrate and commandeer these institutions must be turned around and used against the enemy. Whoever says “I won’t stoop to their level” is a fool. If you want to be free, you have to get down on the gutter with these rats and fight even more dirty than they do.
After a 40 minute wait in line to enter the castle keep occupied by our liege lords, I was able to pose two questions to Mr. Castle(RINO-DE):
1. A discussion started on cap and trade (which Castle voted for), I asked him why we have been debating ANWR for 20 years and nothing has been done and why his cap and trade vote allows drilling off our shores by China and Mexico and Brazil - but not us; and
2. On health care, isn’t there a House rule that requires unanimous consent to dispense with reasing the bill. That one got a chuckle and a smile from him.
Still not impressed with this life-long parasite.
The pols in DC need to fear the people. The people must decide what it will take to accomplish that. And then they must be willing to do so.
That point hasn’t arrived....yet. Time is rapidly running out.
It helps you kind of get a sense of the size of the crowd. I'd guess there may have been 50-75,000 people. It's great to see patriots rise to this challenge!
The warm-up song was "Won't Get Fooled Again" by The Who! IRONIC! People were screaming the chorus!! HA!
Great pics. Our local ABC affiliate just had a report on today’s events. It was read with grave tones of disapproval. But the visuals were incredible....seniors and a young guy in a suit and tie being physically carried from the halls of the Capitol by police. Yeah...they looked like real evil people../s
This is redundant.
“Liberal fascism” is redundant, and that is very discouraging, because liberalism used to be the opposite of fascism - classical liberalism was freedom, open-mindedness, tolerance, democratic participation by every citizen. But now it is a militant oppression of anything that obstructs totalitarian marxism, top-down elitist arrogance, perversion of every civilized principle.
