Anybody familiar with the death penalty under the Code of Military Justice? If this guy lives long enough for a trial, and if he gets the death penalty, will he be in Leavenworth for the next 20 years or will the Army get rid of him pretty quick?

Five British soldiers have been shot dead in Afghanistan by a “rogue” Afghan policeman they had been training. The soldiers had been living and working for the past two weeks with the man who killed them.

It looks like a friend of mine’s husband is getting called up to go to Afghanistan. I sure wish Obama wasn’t CiC.
Problem is, he’s not CinC - or, at least he’s not doing the job.

While on Ft. Hood, unless on the range or conducting some other tactical training, they already are. As are all the Army Civilians and contractors.
The Army doesn't trust the troops with guns. Never have really.
