My mood is improving. Seems to me that even if Corzine does cling to power at this point, the Democrats everywhere are going running to the right and running for cover.

Oh I’m trying to be positive, just trying to keep things in perspective. ACORN and SEIU can make a huge difference so I am just holding my breath and hoping for the best

Not sure—Newark is North Central, Trenton is Central, and Camden is South, across from Philadelphia.

I was gonna say that. Dems win when the big liberal (welfare) cities get counted, and they always seem to get counted last.

63 % of white women went for Christie. Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but don’t they normally vote Democrat? Is anyone here cautiously optimistic?

Yes, but knock on wood. I may be wrong, but I thought that 4 (four) Republicans have won statewide office in New Jersey in the past 50 (fifty) years (Clifford Case, William Cahill, Tom Kean and Christine Todd Whitman). If Christie manages to win, it will be a truly historic moment.

A key county to watch is Bergen. It is the top right county.

Don’t get too excited. The heavily dem areas don’t come in until later. We don’t know which precincts have come in.
