Why do I get the feeling the New Jersey race will be close enough to require a recount. The result will end up in court. There will also be legal challenges against voter fraud concerning ACORN.

They don’t have runoffs for narrow margins of victory, they have recounts.

A few years ago, I lived about an hour east of you in Forest. The area was VERY Conservative at that time. I was shocked when I saw that Roanoke proper had gone blue. I couldn’t imagine these people voting for Obama.

That’s an interesting thought. If Christie gets elected then if old Sen Louse-enberg cannot serve until 2014, the Republican governor gets to appoint his replacement. How much shall we bet that the minute Christie gets into office the Demo legislature votes to do what they did in MA and CT and mandate a special election instead??

Some freeper suggested to me months ago that no Republican would ever win in NJ cause the rats would steal it and no margin by the Republican could overcome it. He was a real jerk about it.

If Cristie wins I’ll try to track down the post and say I told you so. I’m a spiteful one. ;)

Those are my predictions based on recent polling and gut feelings.

I hate those people.

They are the same people that constantly say crap like “the Republican party is dead” over and over.

Registration snag in Suffolk

This morning, some voters in Suffolk hit a registration snag when they appeared in the electronic poll log as absentee voters.

From WAVY.com

I believe this area was strong Obama..

The new meme for the state-controlled media is: there is civil war within the Republican Party.

That's for sure. But rather than a civil war, this is actually a resurgence of what I believe is the majority within the Republican party. We've always had a struggle between the Rockefeller blue bloods and the majority conservatives, and I think they still control a lot of state party organizations (because of the money, methinks), but we've all seen before our very eyes what a conservative 'commoner' can do, in this internet age, to fight a pseudo-Republican appointed by a small group of party bosses.

Rush just mentioned that conservative candidates have been popping up all over the country to challenge Rockefeller Repubs. This is GOOD. This is what we need. No "civil war"......just a resurgence of the REAL Republican party.

This will also help convert those questioning BIG government (partly because of the excessess of what they are seeing in this Marxist WH), and I completely agree. We need to PRAY that it continues.

I really want to see Christie win for no other reason than Obama went in there personally several times to campaign for Corzine.

He did the same for Deeds in VA. IIRC, Deeds poll numbers dropped another 2 points the day after the last "VISIT" by the one.

There was a political ad during Nixon/McGovern. Nixon was of course way ahead. The ad showed a die hard democrat going into the booth. He closes the drape behind him, and looks at the voting card, and thinks. “God, who do I vote for. Nixon? My father would turn in his grave. What about the other guy? McGovern. Hmmm. Maybe he is the better choice etc.”

I think an ad showing the same scenario targeting the democrat, but the democrat saying, “Do I really want another 5 years of Corzine? High taxes, lost jobs etc. Let’s give the oher guy a chance.”

This morning, some voters in Suffolk hit a registration snag when they appeared in the electronic poll log as absentee voters.

Were they trying to vote twice themselves, or are they claiming that someone used their addresses to get an absentee ballot in their names? Are you there?

They won't need to. Lautenberg's seat is already illegally held. His placement on the ballot was in violation of state law. All the Dems in NJ need is a judge.

Republicans now in civil war because the Conservative ran out the Female republican

If the Legislature passes any such law, Christie could veto it and have the veto sustained.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves :)
