lol yeah, it wasn’t a government pen though. It was a really nice Bic, with a grip. I remember saying to myself how glad I was not to send it back, I liked the way it felt and wrote...then I lost the ding dang thing.

Apparently, it’s been this way for at least 3 years, according to my Dad (also a Freeper), who has a 3 yr old election pen that still works (I got my talent for losing things from my mom...opps...she also Freeps...I hope she doesn’t read this).

~Cail, who now is going to the Library to get something calming to read...between all the excitement around me in Virginia, and hoping that my Dad wins in Granville Co, NC...I feel like I have consumed one of those monster drinks!

In Virginia, we're starting to get the holograms put on our driver's licenses too. IT happens when you renew.

Today when I voted in far western Fairfax County, they had a sign listing the proper id accepted. One was your voter registration card. What disturbs me about this practice is anyone (my mother for instance, if she was alive) could take my card and vote with it.

Perhaps enforcement of some enhanced penalties for voter fraud would go a long way.

Yes, perhaps.

I heard some ditzy woman republican strategist on Fox this morning actually say that Palin’s endorsement of Hoffman was irrleveant and didn’t actually make any difference. I’m like, HUH???
That said, it’s gonna be a long day.

I think VA and NY state should be wins. It will be tough to rig NY state I think. NJ I am not sure.

If they can rig NJ and NY then Pelosi will tell Blue Dogs they have cover and will ram a healthcare vote this thursday. The message will be to Blue Dogs - we can rig elections anywhere so don’t worry.

Thank God. But who designed the software in the machines? Who are the owners of Diebold, etc & the major stockholders? They could potentialy OWN the vote. Who’s investigating THIS possibility? I trust no one anymore.

Thanks, MW, will do:

Roanoke is about 3.5-4 hrs southwest of DC, about 3-3.5 hrs west of Richmond, about an hour east of WV, and about 2 hrs north of Greensboro, NC.

IMHO the greater Roanoke area is far more conservative than NoVA. This doesn’t mean that we don’t have our share of whiney liberals, we do. But, for reference, while Obama carried VA as a whole, McCain/Palin carried the area (nearly 62% of the vote).

Roanoke City has a much different make up and unfortunately the actual City went to Barak. I’m praying it flops back so red that it apalls the Roanoke Times, liberal turd rag that it is!

I think Corzine will win by a narrow margin.

So far in NJ, dead voters are leaning heavily towards Corzine.

I really want to see Christie win for no other reason than Obama went in there personally several times to campaign for Corzine.

You have eleventy-skadillion dollars and 43 cents

Which sounds like a lot until you consider that McDonald's will be rolling out a Skadillion Dollar Menu by the time Benny, Timmy and BHO finish with the printing presses.
