Politico has called NJ for Christie.
If Hoffman goes down it won’t be due to Dede. Those machines should all be impounded.

MajoratWH AP just called NJ for Chris Christie. Fox has not called the election.
Clinton got re-elected because Newt tried to challenge him on Medicare reform and the Government shutdown, and then Newt very publicly tried to negotiate with Clinton about budget reform ... and Clinton absolutely trounced him every time; meanwhile, Newt kept saying and doing things as Speaker that were used very effectively to demonized him in soft-money ads.
Clinton would have lost in '96, had not the Republicans rescued him.
NJ Precincts Reporting:
4507 of 6305(71%)
(R) 877,888 50% Christie
(D) 774,167 44% Corzine
(I) 95,469 5% Daggett

Intrade is simply reacting to the same date we have. It’s pretty worthless.
NJ’s a very heavy Democrat/Liberal state with intense voter fraud so let’s wait until 100% is in. The margin will reveal if fraud can or will affect the race presuming Corzine is not projected the winner.
Too early to say with the NY race. Depends which precincts reported in. As well absentee ballots sent in before Dede’s withdrawl could play a role.
Really, it’s best to sit back and just wait before reacting too strongly. Seen too many races break the opposite direction when different counties report in.

Now I’m really worried about the Hoffman-Owens NY-23 race. Hoffman is behind... 23% of the votes in so far...

The NJ Election site just put a big green check next to Christies name. They have called it!
/corzine took Union by 59% in 2005, he only took it by 51% this time, he’s losing in his own counties.
Watch for it. It is coming.
