Palin Punches, Hooks Right, Dede Goes Down
The Politicizer ^ | November 1, 2009 | Conor J. Rogers

Many in the punditry, and especially the mainstream media, have been pushing polls that showed Palin’s favorability ratings dropping and suggesting her star may be fading. In a move that only Sarah Palin could pull off – endorsing a candidate outside her own party, and taking out the establishment candidate – she proved why she’s still around, and reminds us how she got here.

In their relative shock following Palin’s endorsement, the national media seems to forget how Mrs. Palin became Governor of Alaska in the first place: not by defeating Democrats, but by systematically tearing down the Last Frontier’s Republican establishment. Though knocking off Republicans by other Republicans is something new for national politics, Dede Scozzafava now joins half a dozen Alaskan Republicans in Sarah Palin’s trophy case.

Sounds like you want to divide not to unite.

We have an opportunity to make something happen. Each of these people are DOING SOMETHING to help America.
We are NOT looking at timing we are looking at substance.
Want to stay on board?

He completely alienated those within, and who sympathize with, the tea party movement.

On October 22, 2009 Sarah posted the following on FB in support of Hoffman......

It's my honor to endorse Doug and to do what I can to help him win, including having my political action committee, SarahPAC, donate to his campaign the maximum contribution allowed by law.

I am sure this was just an oversight on your part, but Sarah did go more than write a note, she used SarahPAC to donate as much as she legally could.

“Bob J, remember victory has a million fathers, failure none. Share the wealth. There is no profit in sub-dividing our forces.”

Am I in some surreal, fifth dimension world? Isn’t that exactly what I was saying, give credit where credit is due instead of the Palin accolytes who want to award all credit for the rise of Hoffman to a late game, Facebook endorsement by Palin?

Clearly you had no problem with your messiah (OBOZO) quitting the Senate after 143 days to run for President.

Sarah resigned Gov after 2.5 VERY SUCCESSFUL years and explained why it benefitted the Alaskan taxpayers due to the $2 million spent on frivolous ethics charges. You would know this if you would have listened to her words.

"Where will the blind Palin worship end? When she’s the 2012 nominee and we lose the WH for another 8 years because she got hammered everyday for being a quitter in Alaska?",/b>

"I seem to remember similar talk out of you about why conservatives should support Arnold in the recall over Tom McClintock. Care to recant? Didn't you learn anything?" Okay, again I must be in some 5th dimensional world. First, if I ever offered support to Arnold it would have been a late game analysis where the poll numbers showed McClintok had no chance of carrying a majority in a general election. Numbers don't lie and I'm a numbers guy. Second, if so what would I be recanting? That Arnold DID win? That he beat the left wing liberal in a head to head match up? Arnold is no conservative panacea but he certainly is better than the ultra liberals the dems were putting up. In CA that is about the best we can hope for sometimes. Instead of demanding I recant someting I don't remember nor which you have the documentation for, how about spending a little time doing the research and putting forth an argument based on facts instead of hearsay and wishful thining?

“Sounds like you want to divide not to unite.”

Palin accolytes want to take full credit for the Hoffman issue instead of giving credit where credit is due, and I’m the divider?

Speaks for itself. Palin isn’t dangerous, it’s her blind, messianic supporters.

“She was a Johnny-come-lately to the party and didn’t endorse until it was safe to do so.You want to see heroes in this whole Hoffman affair? Armey, Thompson, Club for Growth, Concerned Women...”

Actually that would be spin. Palin was the first potential Pres. candidate to endorse for Hoffman.

Armey and Thompson risked nothing since they aren’t running. Conservatives can share the glory here but Palin meant attention and money to Hoffman...it was a principled and risky gambit by Palin, by any measure.

“You would know this if you would have listened to her words. “

Well, I listened to every word and have reread it several times and to be honest I’m still confused. The difference between me and you is I attributed most of it to political posturing and rhetoric that needed to be defined and parsed on the context of the moment whereas you took every single word as some kind of ETERNAL gospel truth.

You’re a accolyte, I’m a realist.

Well, there ya go again - lacking the intellect to comprehend the information presented. Palin was very clear in her press conference for anyone with an ounce of grey matter. Hmmmm, you sound like a typical liberal/socialist with an ivy league education.

As long as you’re onboard. You sound a little cheesed that Armey and Thompson aren’t getting the press accolades. Remember, Armey and Thompson aren’t your most magnetic and knowable public personalities. Everyone knows Sarah so she is going to get the coverage. Lets be happy that conservatives are re-forming and attacking. This is merely a pilot test for 2010. Lets reinforce with quality candidates like we are seeing in VA and train all our guns on winning the prize. Imagine a Pubbie majority in 2010, re-invigorated with conservative wins. Man, I would hate to be an obummunist testifying to congressional investigations from 2010-2012.

Even some “conservatives” here on normally reliable FR, wet their pants at the mere mention of her name.

2 Cor 2:15-16 explains the effect:
15 For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. 16 To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task?

If they don’t get it, they don’t get it.
We’re not treating Sarah as some Messianic Conservative,
nor do we think of Reagan that way.

We just recognize those who carry the “scent” of the Messiah, His followers.

1 Cor 12:17-20

17 If the whole body were an eye, where would be the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where would be the smelling?

18 But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body just as He pleased.

19 And if they were all one member, where would the body be?

20 But now indeed there are many members, yet one body.
NKJV

We all have our part to make the whole.

Let us not fight against each other to divide but to unite as one for the same purpose. We NEED to take this country back from the darkness that has engulfed her.

LORD, help us!
