November and winter is now upon us and it is almost frightening to realise it is almost a year ago that the election was held that made us realise that the previous 8 years of President George W Bush time as President was drawing to an end.
Even though it has been about 9 months since George W Bush left office for many it seems another age so much seems to have changed and many things we hold dear now seem to mean nothing.
We miss the class and character that George W Bush, his wife and of course his father and mother portrayed to the American nation and the world.
I hope the following photos will help us remember time of maybe great sadness and challenge for the nation but also a feeling that there was somebody at the helm that was strong, confident and above all put his love for his country and fellow men first and always did and said what he believed to be the right thing to do.

Not only didn’t he visit them, he couldn’t make a coherent, compassionate statement about the massacre. There is absolutely no comparison between GWB and 44.

Hubby and I will leave tomorrow morning for Dallas, TX. During our time in Dallas, we will attend a special function at which President Bush and Laura will unveil their plans for the George W Bush Presidential Center (11/12/09).

Yes, I will try to remember everything . . . Unfortunately, we can’t bring an actual camera into the venue — thank goodness for cell phone cameras/video!!
Double unfortunately, I probably won’t have the opportunity to give him a hug this time — that may have to wait for a visit we’re arranging in a few months. Nevertheless, we will have the opportunity to see (and hear) the President and Laura again . . . can’t wait!!
