They will and almost always do. Some will still vote for Dede but it appears that polling is going to be released tonight showing Hoffman picking up most of the Republican votes, a majority of independents, and double digits among even Democrats. Owens doesn’t have enough voters available to win.

Don’t be overconfident. The Left will mount a last minute smear campaign.

Fair to say, it is upstate.

Still, I've seen that found ballot box story, too many times. And how surprisingly, it always happens in a close race and helps the democrat.

My problem with him is that he has become so clearly an opportunist. He seems to be seeking relevance. I thought he did an excellent job at the end of last year fighting for offshore drilling and other conservative causes but this is clearly a mistake of judgment on his part but it isn’t his first. He was caught up in the global warming baloney and health care crud. The political class just are dumbstruck that we aren’t looking for them to save us. That we really believe the principles upon which this country was founded.

This isn’t going to be a close race. :-)

Palin wasn’t the only conservative who endorsed Hoffman.

True, but she was one of the first BIG name endorsers, and as such, focused media attention on the race.

Suzi this Tuesday is shaping up to be a beautiful day. All of our top tier candidates are going to win here in VA and we are going to add several GOP seats to the general assembly. I believe that the NJ governorship is going to Cristie. We will have a lot to celebrate.

From the poll site.

“In a three way contest Doug Hoffman leads Bill Owens by 19 points. In a two way contest Hoffman leads Owens by 15 points. So the Dede Scozzafava withdrawal and endorsement will probably tighten the race some but not nearly enough.”

What could really hammer the nail in the Dem coffin would be if Glen Beck would give Hoffman another boost on his show Monday nite. That would for sure put Hoffman over the top bigtime.

Better wait until the final vote count. Hoffman could be polling 99 and 44/100 per cent and the Democrat could still have the most votes counted.

The Conservatives need to keep an eagle eye on the vote tabulation and count. Why? Because the Democrats have learned that is where they win and how they win. They keep counting, and re-counting and re-counting. And each re-count, the Democrat gets more and the other guy gets less. And if it takes rasing hell to prevent this, do it. That was what the Cubans in Dade County did in ‘00. What did it accomplish? It kept Gore out of the White House.

“Palin wasn’t the only conservative who endorsed Hoffman.”

Yes, Fred Thompson also did.
