MSNBC is neither a news network nor a ratings success, but it is good for one thing: taking the pulse of the Left. Judging by his numerous recent appearances, the Left has a new It-boy: Rep. Alan Grayson, D-FL, who made headlines by saying the Republican health care plan is for you to "die quickly." Last night’s edition of Hardball with Chris Matthews gave Grayson another opportunity to display his cultivated intellect. Asked by Matthews to respond to Dick Cheney’s criticism of Obama’s Afghanistan (non-)policy, Grayson chose to uncork some Don Rickles one-liners:
Well, my response is — and by the way, I have trouble listening to what he says sometimes, because of the blood that drips from his teeth while he’s talking. But, but my response is this: he’s just angry because the president doesn't shoot old men in the face. B-by the way, when he was done speaking, did he just turn into a bat and fly away?
Matthews, who had hailed Grayson earlier in the segment as "Captain Cojones," goaned in disgust. Grayson (who rather resembles Bela Lugosi) proved with his comedic flop why he is the perfect spokesman for today's Left....

Sounds like he & Hugo Chavez may have been separated at birth.
Matthews, who had hailed Grayson earlier in the segment as “Captain Cojones,”
...Chrissy sure thinks of sex with men a lot. A certain “man” gave him a tingling, now this.
If there is anyone out theres in this looneys district, I would like to know if the Republicans have a chance to take him out in 2010? Do they have a good candidate? What is the registration and/or past in this district?
A first-term,back bench douchebag! Chuck Schumer without the
class!(snort)
A fine example of the finest the Democrat party has to offer. I hope to see him on the Sunday talk shows submitting these pearls of wisdom.
HA! Spot on!
I bet he has a poster of Rahm in his bedroom.
It was a GOP district prior to 2008. It’s in or near Orlando. I think there are several candidates chomping at the bit to take this guy down.
It’s a shame that I was impressed with him earlier for his questioning of Fed Reserve people, but he turned out to be a real nutter.
UGLY man...inside and out. I THINK he may be anti-Christian.
Yet, he never said he lied. Hmmmmm
Someone remind them before they make themselves TOTALLY ridiculous
“A first-term,back bench douchebag! Chuck Schumer without the class!”
Hopefully he’s embarrassed his district enough that it will be his only term.
I hope they get a good candidate and the RNC pumps some money in there.
This bozo Grayson is giving his 2010 GOP opponent a lot of ammo to use in campaign ads against him. Maybe he figures he’s gonna go down big, so why not say what he really thinks, for a change...
Grayson is just more proof that Democrats are of their Father, the Devil. They are insane with hate and lust for power. Normal sane, decent individuals do not have these tendencies. They only to live and let live. It is my personal opinion that Grayson is demonically possessed.
This is why they must be fought, and with God’s help, defeated.
Anyone who does not believe that individuals of Grayson’s ilk, [Democrats] would not gleefully march us into the gas chambers, turn on the gas, and laugh and cheer as we died. Please respond with your resons why they would not.
I’m not even sure he is running again. I really believe he makes these statements to draw attention to himself in hopes of landing a position on MSNBC.
What the hell is going on in Florida. This guy has the same speech pattern as that disgusting Wexler? Both of them talk the same way, and remind me of a food blender with the top off.
Is this a common trait among liberal congressmen from Florida. Is this a required pattern in order to get elected in Florida. These guys are repulsive aside from being just plain ugly men. Who the hell sleeps with these guys?
Alan Grayson - the gift that keeps on giving. Too bad the major networks are smart enough not give this wack job some air time. If I were a Fox host, he would be my primary “opposition” foil. The guy is certifiable.
