Sgt. Danielle Jennings, a military policeman with the 1st Cavalry Division, offers a
cool drink of water to her military working dog, Block, during a council meeting in
Tarmiyah, Oct. 20. Jennings provided security while Block sniffed for explosives
outside the town council building.

Looking at You

An elementary school student stands in line as U.S. and Iraqi Soldiers deliver
supplies to a school in the Radwaniyah area of Baghdad, Oct. 19. The Soldiers
handed out more than 150 book bags filled with pencils, notebooks and other
school supplies to underprivileged students, helping to foster learning and
academic achievement.
