I believe it. Over thousands of years, we have become a weaker and weaker species. Even Schwarzenegger, with all his bodybuilding and strength, if he was somehow transported back to the time of the Neanderthals, he would have been seen by the other males as weak and told to stay with the women while they went hunting.

Over thousands of years, we have become a weaker and weaker species.

As individuals we may be weaker. But as a species we are stronger than ever.

That is why our brains got bigger. If the strongest neanderthal ever born came running at you, the invention of a bow and arrow, gun, cannon, sword ec. would make him the weaker opponent.

And thn Schwarzenegger would invent reading, writing, and arithmatic, and he’d be annointed priest-king of the entire tribe.

Many prehistoric Australian aboriginals could have outrun world 100 and 200 meters record holder Usain Bolt in modern conditions.

Maybe they had a better incentive to run faster.

I agree with that.

Look around now especially in the north east. Many men act like women, talk much more girlie and have emotions like women.

Anyone ever see that programme called wife swap?
they had a woman from FL(my state) who was bringing their sons up doing tap dance, ballet and was raising them to be girls.

I’ve joked with my wife how we hope that there are some men left by the time my daughter leaves school.

It is the left who are making boys into girls. They stop them from fighting, tell them to cry and it’s alright, stop them in some cases of wanting to win in sports, stop games in the playground like Tag, dodgeball.

It is pathetic how these lefty women want girlie boys

“Roman legions completed more than one-and-a-half marathons a day carrying more than half their body weight in equipment.”

Wow. And whats the length of a marathon? 20 miles?

he would have been seen by the other males as weak and told to stay with the women while they went hunting.

Then while the stronger males get stomped on or tusked by the woolly mammoths, the weak and the near sighted are convincing the women that the best berries and roots are "over there behind the rocks" and then passing on their weak and nearsighted genes.

Jumping your own height was the standard in my high school track team. Of course in a jr. high/ high school of 3000 kids and only 12 of us high jumping it didn’t say too much. I used to go up & down steps four at a time on the ship.
Maybe that’s why I’m arthritic & some days have trouble with one at a time.

‘Probly all sorts of records have been set thousands of years ago and will never be broken. The guy who ran the fastest mile might have done so while being chased by African wild dogs 20 thousand years ago, for instance.

Tell you what. Bring that Neanderthal bastard into my neighborhood beating his chest, and I’ll pump about 10 rounds from an AR into him, and then go have lunch. And then tell me all about how wimpy the modern man is. Those quasi-gorillas were wusses, and they were dumb. We don’t need to climb trees and jump high just to stay alive.

I hope not much tax money was expended for this
“Hey, look, the sky is blue.” article.
For many thousands of years, the species of man has
periodically killed off its strongest and bravest males
and routinely sent them off to do battle with one another.
Genetically speaking, it is no surprise that each succeeding
generation would contain fewer and fewer strong brave males.

Some Tutsi men in Rwanda exceeded the current world high jump record of 2.45 meters during initiation ceremonies in which they had to jump at least their own height to progress to manhood.

2.45 meters X100=245 cm divided by 2.54 cm/inch=96.45 inches divided by 12= 8ft and 1/2 inches tall. OK I'll officially call BS. The Tutsis are very tall, but none of them are 8 FEET tall!
