On June 27,2004 the Sunday Standard, a Kenyan newspaper, ran an AP story, stating that Obama was born in Kenya.

Then let it break loose if thats what it takes
What goes around comes around. Obama can not stop it. The truth will come out.
If the reps would grow a pair they would at least use this to keep this a—hole from running in 2012, but of course they wont.
Like all company names, AP must be legally trade marked (copyrighted?). Hard to believe they would permit another wire service anywhere to use that well known identifier.
Unknown. As soon as sources are found, they are eliminated, just like when they threw Barry's Illinois Senate Office records through the tree-chipper machine (except for his office chair of course, THAT is in a museum). The trail is snuffed at every step. If Barry's travel records, appointment records, or campaign phone records were known, Larry Sinclair's stories may seem credible - and we CAN'T have THAT, you know.
Looks legit.
I don’t think it’s a secret that Barack Obama’s ties to Kenya were openly discussed in the mid-90’s by the Chicago media. A good researcher could probably still find them - whether campaign interviews or post-election for Illinois Senator or articles relating to traveling to campaign for Odinga.
The mainstream media is not going to touch this story with a hundred foot pole. They do not want it to be true...so it is not true.
The MSM is nothing but a bunch of cheerleaders for The Messiah.

bttt
Ive been told by fellow freepers in the past not to believe any AP stories because they are often inaccurate and never corrected, so I wont bet the farm on this one either. Maybe, just maybe we will get the truth someday.
It was the “East African Standard” and the source is here:

I think the race card is going to fold soon. Just my opinion.
After all it is a fabrication, a lie.
Agree this is our only hope to save our Country.
Bill Clinton said he was smacked with the RACE card, and you see where they are today!!!
Agree let all hell break loose if that what it takes.
Newspapers often add local interest tidbits to AP stories. Since the story ran in a Kenyan paper, the Standard most likely added the “Kenyan born” comment to give people a reason to read the article.
It would be great if this was a major piece in the puzzle, but it is probably just an editor adding something he heard to the story to make it interesting to the Kenyan locals.
