I will have to read the book. Ask the Library to get a first edition. Remember, Beckwith had to travel to a distant, large city to check out an item in the original that was either changed or omitted in later editions.

So, maybe Obama was born in Kenya, So What? MeCain was born in Panama. Both were born to citizens, so, they are citizens. I dont get how this makes a difference.
Go back to sleep.

Here is a
pdf transcript of Kenyan National Assembly on Nov 5, 2008, the day after Obama was elected. Over and over again there are references to Obama being a "son of the soil" of Kenya and a Kenyan. On page page 3275 there is this passage:
HOUSE SHOULD ADJOURN TO DISCUSS ELECTION OF MR. BARRACK OBAMA
Ms. Odhiambo: On a point of order, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. It is not on this issue. I stand on a point of order under Standing Order No.20 to seek leave for adjournment of the House to discuss the American presidential election results.
(Applause)
Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the President-elect, Mr. Obama, is a son of the soil of this country. Every other country in this continent is celebrating the Obama win. It is only proper and fitting that the country which he originates from should show the same excitement, pomp and colour.
Again. It is not the one thing. Rather it is the tide.
In July 2009 a Ghanian newspapersays of Obama that ""For Ghana, Obama's visit will be a celebration of another milestone in African history as it hosts the first-ever African-American president on this presidential visit to the continent of his birth,"

I don’t think this is widely known. A tidbit about a trip to Hawaii:
“2. Daily Southtown (Chicago, IL) - December 13, 2006
When will the big news come?
U.S. Sen. Barack Obama will take a two-week respite in Hawaii before announcing whether he will make a run for the White House.”We’ll make an announcement one way or the other sometime early in the year,” Obama told a sea of reporters on Tuesday.Obama made the comment after testifying before the Advisory Board on Radiation and Worker Health — hardly the place to draw attention from every major media venue. But there they were armed with...

Yep,the Kenyans eat pooch, and so do North Koreans, as you can see here, getting ready for a BBQ ( protein is very scarce in N. Korea, where people eat grass to keep from starving)
Watch Obama's new pooch "disappear."LOL
