Someone just called Hannity’s show, and did some rough math on the volume of the balloon, looked up the lifting capacity of helium, and suggested that it was HIGHLY UNLIKELY that that balloon ever carried that boy anywhere at all- since it didn’t have anything like the capacity to lift the average six year old boy.
Witnesses notwithstanding, I think the caller might be on to something there.
“I think the caller might be on to something there”
Then again, he may just be ON something.
“Someone just called Hannitys show, and did some rough math on the volume of the balloon,”
Followed by the cry of “Baba Booey” no doubt.
I was listening to Hannity the whole show.
Not ONE of the callers had any clue about what they were saying.
One of them multiplied the 20ft x 6ft... and said “120 cubic feet couldn’t lift a child”...
That is true... but he forgot to multiply by 20 again (approx) so his answer was way off.
Others were thinking it was a hot-air balloon, since that is what Sean kept saying. True: that size a hot air balloon could never lift that much, but it is HELIUM.
If I could have gotten through, I would have been MUCH more capable of giving a reasonable guess at things than any of those.
This WAS EASILY able to lift a boy. And, unfortunately, it seems to have done so.
