Hillary Clinton Now Viewed More Favorably Than Barack Obama, Especially Among Republicans Thursday, October 15, 2009 By Susan Jones, Senior Editor

(CNSNews.com) - A new Gallup Poll gives Hillary Clinton a higher "favorable rating" than Barack Obama, the man who beat her in the Democratic presidential primary.

The poll, conducted Oct. 1-4 (before Obama won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize) gives Secretary of State Clinton a 62 percent favorable rating to Obama's 56 percent. In January 2009, Obama's favorable rating stood at 78 percent, compared with 65 percent for Clinton.

Clinton's highest favorable rating of 67 percent came in late December 1998, just after her husband, President Bill Clinton, was impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives.

The Gallup poll shows that 91 percent of Democrats have a favorable opinion of Clinton while 89 percent have a favorable view of Obama.

I will believe it. A lot of recent events actually made me miss the 90s where we had a Democrat in office who was more interested in living the frat life than actually doing anything. I posted something similar a few weeks ago and got agreement from other Freepers.

The shrew is a very appealing figure. Extremely popular with Republicans.

You know His Excellency Al-Hashish Field Marshmallow Dr. Barack Obama Dada, COD, RIP, LSMFT, Would-Be Life President of the Republic Formerly Known as the United States, and Chairman of the Organisation of Halfrican Unity, has really done a number on this land when Hilarious Rodent Clinton, of all people, starts looking good . . .

Yeah Stalin was Uncle Joe when Hitler was trying to take over the world.

And that's only an illustration not a direct comparison.

Except that there are some slight, nagging similarities in character and methods but other than that...

And yet, freepers laughed when I said I’d vote for Hillary over Obama in a heartbeat. Freepers laughed when I said Obama is more a threat to this country than Hillary. Obama makes Hillary look like a girl scout. And this coming from someone who absolutely loathes the Clintons.

I agree. I’m one of those that would rather have had the corrupt Clintons back in the White House than the corrupt, dedicated Communists we now have.

Hillary would not have produced a blind following based on an “articulate and charismatic” personality (because it doesn’t exist). She may not have been able to put the media in her pocket. And criticism of her may have been more acceptable.
Yeah, I don’t like her anymore than the next conservative, BUT I just don’t think she posed as much a danger to America as the radical, ACORN-bearing Marxists does.
The cult following is the danger and she wouldn’t have had that. His mixed race makes it impossible for members of the Senate and Congress to criticize him.

A possible scenario: By 2012 Obama’s popularity will be around 20% and the Democrats after taking a huge hit in the 2010 elections are poised to loose majorities in both houses of Congress. Hillary has resigned as Secretary of State in 2010 and has been a vocal critic of Obama’s continued failures in foreign and domestic policy. Faced with a likely election disaster in 2012, Democrat insiders start a draft Hillary movement. Hillary takes the Iowa caucus and proceeds to win early primaries, though Obama wins the southern primaries largely to his continued support from African Americans, The 2012 Democrat convention is a repeat of 2008 with neither Hillary nor Obama having a majority on the first ballot. The Super Delegates decide, but in a reversal of 2008 give Hillary the nomination.

She is failing big-time on the diplomacy front, this latest slap-in-the-face from Putin yet one more example of how she is not up to the job. 0bama has been sending out other *special envoys* to deal with that which the Secretary of State handles, does he do this on purpose to humiliate her, to kill any chance of a 2012 primary challenge?

I said the same thing during the primaries. Then, as now, I cited his creepy cult of personality as a primary reason why he was, and is, more dangerous to this republic than Hillary.
