The NFL has just told conservatives to drop dead! Good. I haven't watched their boring games in decades. What do you know - they don't welcome Rush Limbaugh as a football team owner and they don't want your attendance!

Did you see who's running the NFLPA?

Guy named Demaurice Smith.

The NFLPA is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Obama, Inc.

He attacked Limbaugh as “divisive"....

So why is Olbermann okay for NBCs Sunday Night Football broadcast and why did the NFL Network have Brent Gumball calling games.

I’d like to see Rush buy the alphabet channels and then deny the NFL airtime - except on Fox of course...;’}

If Rush fails to get this conservatives should STOP watching NFL games.

He has a case.

The question is, would conservative football fans participate in a boycott of the NFL, would they be able to abstain from the NFL long enough to get their feeling across to the NFL? I know most men (especially conservative) are utterly addicted to the watching of the sport of Football.

I wonder if Rush could spearhead a boycott of the NFL to put pressure on them to re-think their snap knee jerk judgment of him.

They obviously have no idea how many football fans listen to Rush and KNOW he's not a racist, nor is he "divisive."

This is really stupid.

He attacked Limbaugh as “divisive”

As divisive as someone who works in urban neighborhoods convincing the residents that they can blame everything on whitey and that they can't improve without help from the government?

Rush is a community organizer! 2 million residents of his community went to DC not long ago. Rush is a better community organizer than Opposum!

By ‘divisive’ do they mean packing up a beloved NFL team’s gear in moving vans and skipping town under cover of dark and snow?

I don’t think he would call for a boycott....being the great Steelers fan and all. It is something he and I both can related to. As one user posts,

Demaurice Smith is a former federal attorney. He gave the maximum allowable contribution to Obama in 2008. He is now in private practice with Patton Boggs, a “megafirm” with a lot of Arab oil clients and a major lobbying force. From Wikipedia: “. . . In addition to the firm's Washington, D.C. headquarters, it maintains offices in. . .Doha, Qatar and Abu Dhabi, UAE. .The firm is consistently ranked as the nation’s number one lobbying firm by the National Journal, Roll Call, Influence and The Hill Newspaper.”

Listen all: The problem in the NFL isn't just Goodell, isn't just the Colts' owner. The problem mainly lies with us as its "fans."

The NFL has been slowly going liberal since AT LEAST turning over the entirety of its SuperBowl halftime shows to CBS & its Janet Jackson "on parade."

Worse, does the NFL admin speak out against Liberal owners like Jerry Jones of the Cowboys and also the Seattle Seahawks' organization? Not to my knowledge. Both Dallas and Seattle have made Life Decisions International boycott lists for giving $ to Planned Parenthood.

But do conservative/Christian fans in Texas and Washington seem to care? Do they let the owners know they're fed up with this? Do they consider boycotting these teams?

WE are the problem. Cowboy fans are the problem. SeaHawks' fans are the problem. And now Colts' fans are the potential problem.

As long as your precious "football" hobbies mean more than the lives of the preborn, then that says it all.

I wonder if Mr. Jane Skinner (Roger Goddell) feels the same way about Fox News Channel...where his wife works...

By the way....college football is a better, more entertaining game. And, you tend to find more conservatives (esp in the South) at the games and putting the money behind the big programs.

Also, you think the NFL would welcome Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas into the luxury suite section....like the Univ of Nebraska welcomes Justice Thomas when he attends Huskers games?

Maybe if Limbaugh bought the team in the dead of night and moved them to another city, they would approve of him to be an owner. Of maybe they would recall the heir who inherited the Rams and intentionally drove the team into failure so she could take the bonus from St. Louis. Those are the kind of owners they need.
