Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed a law marking May 22 as Harvey Milk Day, in honor of the slain gay-rights activist.
The law encourages schools and other educational institutions to commemorate the day each year with discussions and other exercises that help students better understand Milk's significance on California politics and the gay-rights movement.

Arnold’s approval rating is so low (27%) he apparently sees no reason to vurb his liberal agenda. At least this doesn’t make May 22 a state holiday...not yet, anywaty.
CA is a lost cause. Just today, I read that it is virtually impossible for CA voters to unseat the democrat majorities in the state houses. The districts are gerrymandered to insure demcrats will maintain their majorites, so the governship will be a redux of Arnold: a stop gap on some issues with the veto pen, but that’s all.
The state is broke. There’s no getting rid of the illegals and we all know Obamie will pass amnesty and they’re included in healthcare, not that it matters, since they’re already clogging our emergency rooms and prisons.
ENOUGH.
Yeah, fingers crossed and if not, I want to work for a conservative GOP senator or House member.

Let the illegales wallow in the muck pit they have created in what once was a paradise. It’s a shame, but that’s why America opted to be composed of states rather than a homogeneous single government. California can fail without making everyone else fail too.
I couldn’t afford to live here, were it not for my family’s homes being passed down from generation to generation. As it is, I have two little sisters to worry about. I have to make enough money to see to their proper education and I want to take them with me.
