Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed a law marking May 22 as Harvey Milk Day, in honor of the slain gay-rights activist.
The law encourages schools and other educational institutions to commemorate the day each year with discussions and other exercises that help students better understand Milk's significance on California politics and the gay-rights movement.

The pandering to the homosexuals is in full swing. It’s sickening and insulting.

What was that ‘girly’ phrase he used during his campaign? Whatever it was, he’s it!

I’m a fifth generation native San Diegan and if I get married, trust me, there won’t be a sixth generation native.

Hello fellow San Diegan. I don’t blame you. I’ve had enough of this place too, the liberals can have it.

Nobody is going to dare say how BAD it was in these “discussions.” The lavender lobby will make sure the talk goes only one way.

We do not need a Harvey Milk Day, but we must not forget that a POS Psychopath like Dan White can go on a mass killing spree simply because he cannot handle a certain situation.
But at least, in the end, Dan did the right thing.

Well, hi there, SoFo! I’m taking the CBX in February and then I hope I can head to VA/Washington DC and try to work for conservative causes.

VA/Washington DC is an interesting place. I've been there many times but I'm not sure I could live there. I'm glad there are conservatives who want to; we need a formidable presence there. Best of luck to ya! :-)
