A new video produced in association with the Department of Homeland Security and the FBI and narrated by former Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway urges people to report suspicious activity that could constitute terrorism, behavior that includes buying gold, owning guns, using a watch or binoculars, donating to charity, and all manner of mundane things. Using a watch, a pair of binoculars, or donating to a charity are all potential Al-Qaeda behavior, the video implies.
Do you use e mail or the telephone to find out information about things? Youre probably a terrorist, according to the DHS, which classifies such behavior as elicitation, one of the eight signs of terror.
Do you occasionally monitor police radio, as thousands did during the recent G20 protests in Pittsburgh? Youre a terrorist.
Do you notice surveillance cameras or occasionally attempt to watch big brother back? Youre a terrorist

But it wasn't the "point" I happened to "point" out.
You can call it what you please...
If you think telling the truth is nitpicking...than I've nothing else to say to you.
My post was simple....and one that you could have just agreed with...as it was THE TRUTH.
God knows, I should have known to "add more to the discussion" than trying to point out falsehoods.
Talk about picking nits! LOL!!
I'm done....you can certainly have the last word.
I would have done it for just one hooker.
Of course, I'm not famous, but I am reasonable.
I had the same thought. This film is racist. Most of the terrorism has been carried out by Middle Eastern Males in their 20s and 30s.
It is the context in which these rules are applied. Do you report a 65 year old tourist taking pictures of the state capitol building? Or do you report a Middle Eastern type person taking pictures of helicopters through a fence at a local Nation Guard base?
If common sence is applied, these rules are a good thing in my humble opinion. But common sence is not all that common. That is where the problem lies.
You we’re the one that started nitpicking other people’s comments.
All I’m saying is that next time you could simply point out the vaunted Truth as you see it in one posting.
You Could have simply come out and stated what was In the video and that would have been it.
If the ‘Truth’ was oh so important to you why couldn’t you simply state that and save us all a lot of trouble?
LOL! Gonna have to steal that one!

Thanks for the “Red Dawn” poster image.
Who thought a film from a couple of decades ago...
sounds prophetic about what may be coming in the not-that-distant
future?
I pray today’s current mess resolves itself via the ballot-box.
But I fear ACORN and it’s successor vote-suppession (of Republicans) units
and vote-enhancement units (vote early and often, even if you’re dead
or imaginary) might short-circuit my vision.
Great cartoon on today’s DHS.
Too bad that faint version of Uncle Sam doesn’t have one of those
oval “Obama” graphics on his sweater.
Not only is the DHS keeping watch on those nutty Americans with guns...
even the state gov. in Missouri issued some sort of “watch the
people with guns, including veterans of the US Military because they
might be dangerous militia members”.
When the “report” got a sufficient sanatizing dose of daylight,
even Democratic Governor Nixon back-peddled away from it.
Maybe he got a call from a major employer here in Mid-Missouri:
“Midway Arms” that employs (I suspect) employees than the “Big Three”
here in MO these days.
The intrepid Colorado blogger, Snaggle-Tooth Jones the Colorado Confederatarian, sprang to action upon hearing this story:
We’uns is a’gonna come down out these here hills, corncobs pipes a’far, Blue Ticks a’bayin’, ‘shine bottles a’swingin’ and shootin’ arns at the ready.
Our battle cry will be the blood-chilling “Yew shure gots purty lips for uh boah.”
We are the Hilleban.
Fear us, dag nabbit.
[I wonder...does Dickies make burkas?]
“I don’t care who you are, that’s funny right there.”
Should I be calling DHS when I see people in military recruiting stations? DHS tells us vets are terrorists. They could be terrorists when they leave the service. We should get them on the list before they sign up for the Army.
