I just received a call from Orly Taitz, my attorney in the case seeking proof of Obama's eligibility for the Office of President of the United States. Judge Carter has released a statement declaring that the dates he set for the hearing and trial on the eligibility issue are confirmed, and it will move forward as scheduled. Apparently he was not swayed by the Obama lawyer's arguments.

Hawaii state officials, in straighforward language, have confirmed his vital records say he was born in Hawaii.
That means he could get a real COLB that says he was born in Hawaii.
I'm continually amazed at how frequently I have to point out the obvious to birthers.
The fact that the man you call Barack Obama has not provided any relevant documentation that he is a natural born citizen of the United States, even in the face of grave doubts about the facts of the case.
In spite of the fact that his refusal to provide such documentation and put such doubts about his legitimacy to rest greatly damages the office he claims and the credibility of every act that is taken in his name.
If divide and conquer is their purpose here, they have sorely misjudged the intellegence and character of Freepers! That is a good thing when you find the enemies of the constitution under rating their opposition.

You are describing yourself and the other birthers. You keep raising the same points and objections, no matter how many times they've been explained. The same false statements keep getting repeated, no matter how many times they are disproven.
Right, so you would take her word for it that the long-form is authentic, but you don't take her word for it that he was born in Hawaii.

The reader can go back up the thread and read the multiple facts that have been ignored by you and your fellow travelers. Folks aren’t as stupid as you seem to think they are.
Given the lack of any law requiring that any form of proof be shown to anyone, and the lack of any precedent for the courts to get involved in the selection of the President, the courts have consistently held so far (and I expect them to continue to hold) that whether or not Obama is a natural born citizen is an issue that cannot be decided by the judicial branch but is rather committed to the Electoral College and to the Congress when they certify the electoral votes.
It would probably be a good idea for there to be legislation requiring that someone confirm a candidate's eligibility and specifying precisely what documentation is required. But, until such legislation is passed, my prediction, speaking as a lawyer with more than 30 years' experience litigating in federal courts, is that the courts are going to refuse to hear these cases. I say this not to defend Obama, but merely to point out the reality of the legal landscape that now exists.
You have already proven you are willing to spin any lie necessary to protect law breakers. Nothing I say will change that character flaw in you. Sorry.
What’s wrong with requiring the best evidence available? Why take a general statement from an official when a long-form BC is on file? If I need to show my BC, it’s not enough to say, “Call the lady in the state vital records office; she’ll tell you.”
A COLB is documentation. Just because doesn't satisfy you doesn't mean it isn't valid. There is nothing in the Constitution that requires Bambi to prove his status to your satisfaction.
