Re: “Jack Rhodes, 47 at the time of the robbery/beating”
Correction: the SB was about 45 at the time. He is now 47.
Correction #2: “including video of the March 2007 vicious beating inside an elevator”
The beating of course took place in the *lobby* of her apartment bldg.
BTW: these are my own errors I am correcting. I hope they are the last. I’m tired. Got to get to bed!
Mozambique drill
Rhodes is no longer a “suspect” as the headline says. He’s a convict! Wonderful she lived long enough to see him convicted.
They’re gonna love him in prison.
Lemme guess, an obama supporter?
Where is Jesse Jackson crying how blacks are so unfairly treated in the criminal justice system?

HATEFUL THUG: Jack Rhodes faces up to 90 years in prison on his hate-crime
conviction in the violent mugging of Rose Morat, now 103, and two other women.
"Prosecutors said Morat, who uses a walker [then 101 years old], was getting off the elevator in her Jamaica Estates apartment building when Rhodes offered to open the front door for her.
The ex-con then punched her repeatedly before grabbing her pocketbook, which contained $33 and her house keys, and fled on a bike.
A half-hour later, Elizee, who also uses a walker [then 87], was opening the door to her Jamaica apartment when Rhodes forced his way inside and punched her in the face before robbing her, prosecutors said."
