There I was, sitting in Reagan National Monday morning, sipping a Starbucks by the United counter before going through security. I had a little time, so I was browsing through the news. That's when I saw Bill Ayers, an instant blight. Scruffy, thinning beard, dippy earring, and the wirerims, heading to order. I gathered my things, got my camera ready, and snapped a shot right when he got his coffee.
He gave me an uneasy cheesy smile when he realized I was taking his picture.
I asked--what are you doing in D.C. Mr. Ayers?
[He said] he was giving a lecture in Arlington to a Renaissance group on education--that's what I do, education--you shouldn't believe everything you hear about me, you know nothing about me.
Then, unprompted he said--I wrote Dreams From My Father. I said, oh, so you admit it. He said--Michelle asked me to. I looked at him. He seemed eager. He's about my height, short. He went on to say--and if you can prove it, we can split the royalties. So I said, stop pulling my leg. Horrible thought. But he came again--I really wrote it, the wording was similar. I said I believe you probably heavily edited it. He said--I wrote it.

agree with both statements; sounds like the Party line & surely there is more...
(such as, Did Ayers also play a part in making any introductions or deals?)
-— but as we have learned so well, the Party line is helpful, in that what they want to represent is a clue to the truth they want to disguise.
You have that right! I find it annoying.
Bill Ayers wrote the book using Obama notes and only occasionally put in his own experience to juice up the book. The book was not about Ayers except in rare instances.
Yea, right...
You just blew your cover for next time. Shame. ;)

Bill Ayers to righty blogger: Of course I wrote Dreams from My Father

Whats more amusing? The fact that hed tease a conservative by baiting her about the rights Cashill/Andersen-fueled authorship suspicions, or the fact that the Examiner seems to think he was making an earnest, honest-to-goodness confession?
Note that this wasnt even in response to a question. He simply blurted it out as soon as the interviewer identified herself as conservative.
Follow the link for the Examiners theory that being denied proper credit for the presidents book which was published almost 15 years ago may have finally triggered Ayerss megalomania such that he could no longer suppress the truth during a chance encounter with a blogger in an airport. Dude?
Beauty.
No, Jackie’s line to Obama needs to be: “BANG, ZOOM, to da MOON!
Could be. “Thirty Days Has September.” Maybe the camera’s date needs to be updated periodically. The fact that it’s only one day doesn’t bother me. It’s “right there.”
So Husseins old man dreamed about bombing US Government buildings,eh? And I thought my Dads dream of meeting Ted Williams was ambitious.
Stay tuned for Beck’s “Refounders” project. Last I saw he already had 5 “insiders” willing to spill their guts undercover. THAT is gonna make for some AWESOME “theater!”
Of course, you fully accept Obama’s natural born citizen status without a vault copy of his birth certificate.
Ping!
I would love to hear from someone familiar with Anne Leary's past work before coming to a firm opinion as to the accuracy of this report though.
We’ll just have to keep fighting - and backing our champions like Rush, Beck, Hannity, JimRob, etc...
“Guilty as sin, free as a bird what a country, America.” - Bill Ayers
No, not at all. I think it is a travesty that the media haven't put pressure on the White House to release his birth certificate, a travesty that the democrats themselves didn't investigate his status when he first started his bid for the White House. Having said that though, if someone puts up a supposed photocopy of his BC on the net i would certainly want it to be analyzed from all possible angles before sending it up as exhibit A.
Same with this. If it happens to stand up to scrutiny, then great. But right now, at least to me, it seems to be standing on somewhat flimsy ground.
Looks like things have started unraveling for Obama. I hope they completely fall apart in time for the 2010 elections.
********
So you think that Obama wrote the book all by himself?
So he writes this book - watches all the rave reviews - and he gets NO CREDIT.
NONE
Now this is a little angry man - and he wants credit. He wants credit so bad he doesn't care if his admission hurts Obama. All he cares about is little Billy Ayers and little Billy Ayers's big fat ego.
Ayers is having another "look at me" tantrum.
I think he wrote the book.
