There I was, sitting in Reagan National Monday morning, sipping a Starbucks by the United counter before going through security. I had a little time, so I was browsing through the news. That's when I saw Bill Ayers, an instant blight. Scruffy, thinning beard, dippy earring, and the wirerims, heading to order. I gathered my things, got my camera ready, and snapped a shot right when he got his coffee.

He gave me an uneasy cheesy smile when he realized I was taking his picture.

I asked--what are you doing in D.C. Mr. Ayers?

[He said] he was giving a lecture in Arlington to a Renaissance group on education--that's what I do, education--you shouldn't believe everything you hear about me, you know nothing about me.

Then, unprompted he said--I wrote Dreams From My Father. I said, oh, so you admit it. He said--Michelle asked me to. I looked at him. He seemed eager. He's about my height, short. He went on to say--and if you can prove it, we can split the royalties. So I said, stop pulling my leg. Horrible thought. But he came again--I really wrote it, the wording was similar. I said I believe you probably heavily edited it. He said--I wrote it.

Excellent point! Read a book review of a memoir of one of JFK’s speechwriters/ghostwriters - Theodore Sorensen I think it was. Again, IIRC, he came up with the “Ask not blah blah blah”. In any case it was pretty clear that Sorensen was still bitter about not getting the credit he thought he deserved. I might have some of these details wrong, but that was the gist.

I don’t know if he did or didn’t write the book, but I think he was simply taunting Ms. Leary. Paraphrasing what he said to her, I think his message to her was this: “Yeah I wrote the book, but you’ll never be able to prove it. Doesn’t it just eat you up to know that I got away with it and there’s nothing you can do about it?”

My exact thought this morning when I saw the thread on breaking.... I did not even open it. Wow. Just wow. This is incredible, because not only does it shine the light on the reality that Obama could not write his own book, BUT more importantly, it also refutes EVERYTHING Obama said about his relationship with Ayers during the campaign!!

We already knew ostammer is a fraud and the useful idiots who support him don’t care. If Ayers has a gripe with ostammer, good. I hope he’s really pissed off and his wittle feewings are all hurt. Let him express his rage through his old tried-and-true means of tantrum and go set off a self-immolating bomb or something. Ayers is obviously too much of a coward to take ostammer on over this himself, if it’s even true. As for ostammer, since claiming you wrote something that you didn’t (and we only have Ayers’ claim that he didn’t which doesn’t mean diddly) isn’t an impeachable offense, it matters not in the scheme of things.

I see that too - but I also see an involved conservative movement that quickly grabbed onto that horror and made fun of it. Rush had so much fun going "mmmm, mmmm,mmmm Obama..." that it verged on the obscene. Funny enough to have me almost in tears. We won that battle - I don't think schools are going to be singing to dear leader again any time soon...

Yes, he's chosen some real doozies. And Glen Beck is on them like white on rice. Beck's forced Obama to be more reasonable in his picks - - one Czar's out - another on the ropes...

More on your other observations later. I can see you've thought about this - I agree there's lots of red flags (no pun intended) ... and some real concerns - we'll have to wait to know for sure what we're dealing with... It could all be innocent - but that's seeming less and less likly...

You have made a good list of exposure conservatives have accomplished - among conservatives. HOwever I totally disagree with you that exposure stops Marxists. They never stop; even when exposed, they just go right on doing what they were doing before. I have seen it too many times happen.
