For some reason, Stanley Ann doesn’t strike me as a “paperwork” type. I doubt they were even married.
I think Obama is a US Citizen and maybe a “NATIVE BORN” Citizen but that does not make Obama a “NATURAL BORN” Citizen. If Obama, Sr. had been a US Citizen or a US Green Card holder Bambi would most likely be in the clear. Obama, Sr. only had a STUDENT Visa and passed on British Citizenship, at best, to Obama, Jr.
As far as I know, Kenyan expires at 18 and British stays until there is a request for the removal from the British Citizenship rolls.

Such a comment shows why there is so much confusion about this. There are ONLY two ways to be a US citizen: one is NATURALIZED or one is NATURAL BORN. That is it. Nothing else grants citizenship.
It is not even clear that he is a citizen at all. He was NOT naturalized so if not natural born then he is NOT even a citizen.

I’m under the impression that Barry Soetoro was known as such beyond the age of majority (and continued to regard himself as an Indonesian citizen for some time). Is that still his legal name? Did he ever change it legally? (Did he have to?) I wonder! Are there any lawyers reading this thread who could comment?

I think that was another line on Barry’s status. Whether he received college funds based on Indonesian citizenship.
I’m the same age as Barry. I didn’t go to college in California. I went to college in AZ. Here in AZ there were NO SUCH THINGS AS STUDENT LOANS. You got a scholarship or some kind of financial aid (income/ethnic status). That’s it.
I don’t know how Barry got student loans for Occidental unless gramps and toot, took out a general loan from the bank and gave him the money for tuition.
That was one of the rumours at the time but it is hard to see what he could have added to make the issue go away other than blatent forgery.
