COPENHAGEN — Michelle Obama's welcoming party was more like a stopover. She chatted with the ambassador, kissed Chicago Mayor Richard Daley on the cheek and gave her old friends quick hugs hello before climbing into the waiting SUV.

Funny, gracious and incredibly accomplished, she's one of the few people who can rival her husband's popularity. She also knows the neighborhoods where the games would be, having grown up on the South Side of Chicago. The Obamas' Chicago home is a short walk from the planned Olympic stadium.

Well, three things:

1) She successfully landed a do-nothing, non-productive, openly racist PR position at a Chicago hospital.

2) She received mid six figure renumeration for years in this empty, supremely wasteful position.

3) She stayed out of jail. The very origin of this job was blatant, public graft involving her, her equally unaccomplished husband, and the hospital, all at the expense of the taxpayers.

Yeah, in some circles that would be considered “accomplished”.

This outfit is so wrong on so many levels. It could have been nice, at least it is a suit and not a sleeveless sundress. But...those huge checks that aren't in a straight line because her too-tight skirt is pulling them out of alignment. Dots on the jacket(?)What is with dots and checks??? The incessant boob belt (ribbon this time, like Michelle needs a bow to accentuate - anything)worn over the jacket. Ugh...skirt too short - and we get to see Michelle's football player knees and thighs again (so proper)! And...can we take it...again, those ugly pea soup green colored shoes that I guess she keeps wearing hoping something will look good with them.
